This is a book of poems about life and experiences I had. Some are funny, some are serious, but all are thought-provoking.I wish to thank Ambur Byler for typing my poems.
The Art of Dowsing: Separating Science from Superstition book is the first book ever written that comprehensively explains the physics involved in using the modern ball bearing dowsing rod with gauging by pitting gravity against the elemental magnetic flux lines of the dowsed for element or elemental mass. Gravity is used as a gauge for dowsing the edges, middle, grade, angle of depositing with depth buried. The involved physics of each of the ninety-two natural elements radiating out electromagnetic microwave band frequency from single atoms that combine with other atoms of the same element for producing one elemental magnetic flux line, which combine with all the other same element's elemental magnetic flux lines for building enough static electrical energy for the human body produced static electricity to energize the dowsing rod's attached one-tenth-troy-ounce pure element that is dowsed for. The element that is attached to the dowsing rod becomes energized enough by the same element buried in the ground to produce physical turning of the dowsing rod when dowsing toward and over the sought buried elemental mass. Building and maintaining the modern ball bearing dowsing rod and dowsing on foot or amplified long-distance dowsing from a vehicle is thoroughly explained. Michael John Fercik started dowsing for gold ore veins in 1975 with unknowingly becoming a dowsing savant after figuring out the dowsing physics involved, and this is why he has the natural ability today to write the book that will change the world's perspective on all the dowsing false superstitions with the correct dowsing theories and proven science and physics of dowsing in the modern world. Physical on ground dowsing and long-distance dowsing from a moving vehicle is explained in laymen terms for enabling everyone to understand the physics involved in dowsing while shown how to build your own modern ball bearing dowsing rod and how to dowse and gauge what is being dowsed. Physicists will be amazed that nobody has explained the physics involved in dowsing and how to use dowsing physics with gravity as a gauge for understanding the size, grade, angle of depositing, and depth buried of the dowsed elemental mass. Dowsing specific wording is explained in a glossary of terms for easy understanding and communications of the required dowsing process of eliminations. Whether or not you want to learn how to dowse, just reading and understanding the recently proven physics of dowsing will excite the curiosity of expanding previously unknown physics of the electrical energies involved in the human body interacting with the electrical energies of solid or liquid or gaseous matter through the modern ball bearing dowsing rod.

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew passed over the city of Homestead, Florida, and changed the lives of the residents that lived there. Wayne Stover, a thirtysomething single man, was caught up in the category 5 hurricane. Thankful for his life being spared, Wayne wants to give back to the community. He also wants the change in the air to bring change to him. His life's pattern is as a journeyman philosopher, he is unable to focus his desire and talents to achieve anything productive. Wayne finds out that there are many lessons and perils to learn on the rooftops repairing the damage from the hurricane. Wayne has a burning feeling inside him that he was meant for something significant. His privileged upbringing and wide experiences as an American youth growing up in Europe should not be wasted. He is tormented by the thoughts of his father's wishes for him. Wayne's father is a great and accomplished man Wayne loves and respects as a mentor. However, he is unable to please his father. It is written in the Bible that Andrew approached Jesus and asked Jesus to teach him. Jesus said, "e;Come with me, and we will change the world."e; That is all that Wayne wants, in some small way to change the world.

Writing this book has been a very fulfilling experience. The items you read will perhaps give you a reason to pause and reflect on different times in your past and things you have experienced. Reflections is the name of this book. I chose "e;reflections"e; for a specific reason. As you read this book, some items may give you reason to reflect back in time. Take your time as you read and think of times past. Life is a great teacher. At times, we need to look to our past to learn from our mistakes as well as the victories we have accomplished. We are never too old to learn, to listen before we speak, to forgive rather than judge, and to show compassion and understanding. As a wise man once told me, "e;You cannot go forward in life if you spend all your time looking back."e;I will leave you with this thought, "e;Reflect, learn, and live life to the fullest."e;

Writing these quotes late at night started out as something I would do when I couldn't sleep to help me cope with things I was going through. When I started to truly believe in my own words, I started to actually make the changes that made me a better, happier person. I hope you find my words motivational and inspiring in your own life. You're the only person who can make the changes necessary to move forward. I hope you find the courage to live your life to the fullest, and hopefully, my words can help.
To everything there is a beginning.A story which must be told. There are secrets which have not yet been heard. There are mysteries which must be unsealed. For at the very least this much is true. In the forgotten darkness of yesterday lay the hope of tomorrow. In that twilight dawn a blossom will spread its shadow. Seeds will be planted. Indwelled and nurturing, a toy man will look at the moon and prophesize before tears will fall. Wings will be spread as the moon sheds her light and time, for a moment will shatter for the mistress in red.For the sake of friendship, for the riddles of time and for one unseen a record must be played. He who dances with the rose, his name is Lazar Lion. He dances with a blue rose and with the one who has placed it in his paw. Standing aside and watching events play out is Lazar's cousin Jingles. He watches, waits, and helps when possible. Above all else, Jingles hopes. He hopes for a future where fear is cast aside and blue roses bloom free.
Ruby J. Gonzales moved forward while she cared for the multiple-colored irises, wide bright sunflower plants, and other colorful bright splashes of nature's infinite beauty."e;You plant a garden because you believe in the future. You punch a hole in the soft dirt with your finger and drop a seed in it because you believe in tomorrow. You can't see what's going on under the dirt, but you water what you can't see, believing that one day you'll see the fruit of your work."e;My dear wonderful Mom was a warm and caring woman, a gentle soul with intense faith and overwhelming love-a woman whose integrity was her trademark, whose only habit was to mix love and truth with honesty, and offered her consejos throughout my life that, now as an adult, I refer to often and still hold close to my heart.I have chosen to honor my Mom and document her teaching in the hope that as they have helped me through difficult times, her wisdom, grace, love, and compassion will be a part of the next generation and they too will witness what faith and trust in God looks like and how important love for family is.I dedicate this book to the first woman I ever loved, my Mom.-El Alto Moreno
Dexter is a story about a rescued puppy that is brought into a new family and is trying to find his place and space. Dexter works hard to please his new brother, Reilly, and emulate him as much as possible, sometimes successfully, others not so. This story is meant to be a guide to all those children, adolescents (preteens/teens), and even young adults finding themselves in new situations and having to figure out how to fit and blend in. By viewing these situations through the eyes of a puppy, it may take away some of the fear, preconceived thoughts, and roadblocks that often delay or inhibit embracing new situations. I hope you enjoy reading Dexter's story as much as I have had writing it.Please stand by for more to come from Dexter, Reilly, and the gang.
A collection spanning over thirty years. Poems both religious and secular with a little something for everyone. Poems I hope will entertain and inspire with reflection, thought-provoking, and humor as well. My poems are my children, some unruly, and some are my pride and joy. Some were hard in birthing, and some I couldn't write down fast enough. And some even seem to have written themselves. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then poetry is the transcript. Such a gift to one so unworthy. I'm the luckiest man in the world.Bless you all,Bob
What happens when you dig below the surface of several beliefs? When you compare it to that of your own, what will you find? What happens when you take those different belief systems, practices, backgrounds, and histories and place them side by side? What types of truths will unfold before your eyes? What is truth when you are faced with what lies beyond faith?

Maura Delaney is just your average, sarcastic, chain-smoking young woman who happens to moonlight as a vigilante assassin. Through the use of advanced technology, her mission is to dispose of the human monsters who plague our communities every day. We're talking murderers, rapists, pedophiles-the worst of the worst. Seems like a dream job, right?Of course, everything doesn't always go according to plan, especially with a best friend constantly playing matchmaker, a hard-nosed boss breathing down her neck, and an obsessed coworker who doesn't understand the term friend-zoned. The malfunctioning of her ability to inconspicuously dispose of the bad guys suddenly throws Maura for a loop. And the appearance of a handsome stranger amid the chaos really throws a wrench in the cogs. Who is this enigmatic man, and why does he make Maura's palms sweat? There's something peculiar and yet absolutely magnetizing about him that she can't seem to shake. To top things off, a serial murderer is on the loose, and without Maura's disposal mechanism running at full capacity, the bodies may really begin to stack up. It's a high-stakes race to stop a killer, with quite a few speed bumps, school zones, and construction detours along the way.
#winning is a twenty-years-in-the-making autobiography that encompasses the life of a young woman who has sacrificed everything she has to please others. Being a giver is a wonderful quality but not when it results in being abused, stolen from, losing your family, having to claim bankruptcy, and almost losing your life. You will be able to go back in time to 1999 when this young author was twelve years old and read many of the journal entries that have taken her through the ups and downs of life. This book opens up the questions of "e;Why do we do what we do?"e; "e;Are we who we are because of how we were born or because of the decisions we have made?"e; "e;How can we learn to love and forgive those who have hurt us so badly?"e; and "e;How can we give to others without being taken advantage of?"e; If you have experienced failures, abuse, financial disasters, ugly divorces, drug and alcohol abuse, rape, isolation, and much more, than this book may offer you some comfort, understanding, and hope that any bad situation can be turned around and used for good. By the grace of God, we can all survive what this world may throw our way, and this book will prove to you that you are not alone.
The moon is melting!Join Cooper and his friends as they melt the moon and try to return it back to the sky before the book ends.
Tough Guy is the creation story of Jimmy. As he becomes a man, Jimmy's personality, abusive tendencies, and selfishness are deeply ingrained into his psyche. Jimmy has little awareness or concern about the impact he has on the people most deserving of his actual love.
The title of this book is my middle name Eugenia and all my creations and pain I have endured in my life and in my dreams. I have daydreams and night dreams, some good, some bad, some perplexed, and some crazy. The pain is about deaths of my family, friends, neighbors, and people in the world. I can say that my title is Me* because I feel I'm a very confused and complicated person. (The title and Eugenia's creation's pain*.)
Love is the worst of the four-letter words in the world as I tried and couldn't track it down. I did find it at first to where it didn't find me but pretending it did. I didn't even know I was in love, and showing me some things in the beginning only hid the fact that this wasn't love. Whereas I couldn't see love for what it was that I was lost when someone did love me, and I believed the lies that came in between until it broke my heart forever as she showed she was only in it for the money. I refused to become her trick, and off to prison I went, where she would kill off what was known as Tiffany's heart, and I would learn that if they didn't love you, they didn't love you.I grew up loving one person for fifteen years. It was only second best to having my children. I never loved anyone so deeply and truly that my heart became hers. My first, only, and last love died with you when you broke my heart. If time was to heal your heart, we will see 'cause you have officially made it unfixable.Hurting this bad, and I'm not still over you. I didn't ever want to be hurt like this bad. How do I fight it?My life growing up was hard, not knowing what love was anymore. Now that I once again grow, how do I go on without you?
Lady Alice is an advocate for disabled children around the world. She was adopted into a family where she was the only physical one disabled. She wants to be able to give back to the world and to give each child the gift of voice. She won't let society keep her down nor have the naysayers keep her from giving something back to the world. She has the power to make things happen when she sets her mind to it. She wants others to be able to do the same. She wants all walks of life to not be forgotten nor not to feel like no one cares about them. She does, and this is her story.
Crystal Reflection represents the author's passion for expression of deep feelings, releasing thoughts that were previously kept unrevealed and silent through written words on a page. Each poem describes in some way how life can take a toll on our spirit and sanity, especially when we are not honest with ourselves and others about who we truly are as a person and smother our desires and dreams, not allowing ourselves to experience the life we are meant to have and feeling the freedom to achieve. Its message cannot deny there is a heavenly Creator that gives hope and grace to all who believe. This first publication of works will certainly not be the last. There is much more to be poured onto the page. If the inkwell continues to be supplied with fresh ink, the mind and hand is waiting and willing to oblige.

The story within is about a friendship that developed between a quadriplegic and a chipmunk. It's a very interesting explanation of how this friendship came about and how it lasted for over eight years. It's funny at times, it's sad at times, but most importantly, it's a look into how even a small animal like a chipmunk can make life much more enjoyable for many people. In essence, this is a cool and fun story written for children to learn from but can be enjoyed by the entire family and people of any age.
The following is a book based on recovery-related motivational and inspirational sayings and quotes. It is the author's hope that the individual will pick a quote and put it to practice during the course of his or her day to better help and guide them through their recovery.
I know that by reading the title you think there is no such thing as zombies. The question remains: if this was true, why are stories revealed of them worldwide? The old saying "e;Don't judge a book by its cover"e; applies to this chronicle.Think of this: in today's world, we have experiments of (1) cloning, (2) DNA and RNA manipulations, (3) human test trails concerning drugs and lab assignments, (4) vaccines, (5) subliminal brainwashing techniques through the devices (2 Cor. 2:11).The atrocities go on and on of what fellow man is doing to fellow man and woman. This is not just a story of Sandman, a man society loves to hate, but an adventure into the practice of Nihilism, as the destruction of existing political and/or social institutions that are instituted to improve the future of humans by zealots who also follow the footprints of the origins of death and resurrection to create an Orcus type of world. So the question is, who is equipped to go beyond when the reanimated becomes meek?Sandman's survival through his eyes is a fictional adventure, or is it?Fact or fiction: you make the call. So sit back and enjoy! "e;In those days shall men seek death and shall not find it, death shall flee from them"e; (Rev. 9:6). Zombie!Peace,S. Muddy H2O
Cultivation of the Heart is the antidote for the impenetrable hearts-young people who have suffered from a great number of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). Although many have deemed our youth who are at the center of gun violence to be "e;unreachable,"e; research and evidence has shown that investing in our youth can produce significant positive results in their overall behavior and ability to resolve conflict. I know firsthand because a licensed psychologist diagnosed me as someone who was so prone to violence due to my exposure to trauma at an early age, that the chances of me ever changing were slim to none. She said that I would always resort to violence as a means of problem-solving. Fortunately for me, I had mentors, family, and friends that poured positive energy, love, and support into me that eventually softened my heart, reversing the abuse, abandonment, and trauma that had over the years hardened my heart as a young man growing up in the concrete jungles of Richmond, California. They loved me when I didn't know what it meant to love myself. They showed me how to love myself when I didn't have a clue. All of my mentors were experts in the field of de-escalation and relationship building. You can't help someone grow if they don't trust you. The callouses formed on a damaged person's heart is designed to protect them from more hurt and from further damage. The problem with a hardened heart is that you can't plant seeds in it that are sure to produce positive fruits that all can benefit from. It's impenetrable. Therefore, the seeds of love that need to get in can't get in, and the seeds of hate, heartache, and pain that need to get out can't be weeded out. At least, while that person is still the owner of a hardened heart. However, once a mentor with the skill of a farmer enters their life and begins to cultivate the heart, positive seeds can be planted, negativity can be weeded out, and beautiful fruits can be produced. With the help of others who invested in me, I embraced the process of heart cultivation and discovered that I could do so much more with a soft heart than I could ever do with a hardened heart. Nothing good can ever be produced from a barren land, but fertile ground is the seed bed for miraculous things that are often beyond our wildest dreams. Cultivation of the Heart is that seed bed where miraculous transformation and beautiful evolutions take place. We credible mentors have to be the skilled farmers who cultivate the hearts of our young people, especially those at the center of gun violence who are simply sharing the hurt and pain with us that the world has given them.
There are only three things in the universe that stars can't manipulate: life, death, and love. This, of course, doesn't stop anyone from wishing for these things. These are the wishes that stars will dread hearing their whole existence. So when Calista is pulled from the sky with a wish for true love, her world shatters. Without her alpha star to guide her and her smaller stars to encourage her, Calista feels lost and hopeless when faced with the impossible task set before her.Hidden in the folds of the sleepy town of Shelter Cove, she finds Jack, who makes the best coffee she's ever had; Lily, who has a smile like sunshine and a heart to match; Grey, who hides behind his music and a charming smile; and Nate and Savanah, who love each other and their friends fiercely. Each one reminds her that humans are just as beautifully unique as the stars. But will making friends help her find true love for a human she doesn't know? Or will she be forced to face her own fears and feelings about the reality that she may never make it back to the only home she's ever known?
This is the story of a young girl born in the Ukraine (USSR ) who lived during the brutal years and the massacre of millions of people in Ukraine by the Stalin regime. She lost her father and mother and was saved by her uncle, who became not only her protector but also her true love. She witnessed the change in the Germans, from friends before WWII to the cruelty during the invasion and occupation of Russia and their defeat. After her uncle's death, she married a young Red Army lieutenant who, after his promotion to captain, was sent with her and her daughter to northern Siberia to be one of the managing officials of a gulag (concentration camp). There she witnessed the barbarism and murder of the prisoners by the camp guards. After three years, they divorced, and with her daughter, she traveled to Moscow where she worked as a nurse for several years. She met an American businessman and, after her daughter became a world-famous opera singer, married him and immigrated to the USA. Upon his death many years later, she returned to her homeland, Ukraine.
