Most of the past publicity about the Unification Church (Unification Movement), and Reverend Moon has been negative. Jo Ann attempts to give an understanding of what this movement is all about, based on her experiences, and as seen through her eyes, and explain what made her and thousands of American young people join this movement. She also tries to give a basic understanding of the Divine Principle (the teachings of Reverend Moon). She says, "e;I believe if the world knew even the basics of the Principle, we could see the way to peace on earth, as we could overcome the things that divide us now."e;The chapter on "e;What We Believe"e; deals with questions humans have been asking from the beginning of time, including who or what God is, the purpose of life, our spiritual and physical bodies, spiritual growth, life after death, the origin of evil, the truth about the life of Jesus, the purpose behind human history, and the mission Reverend Moon said he was given by Jesus on a North Korean mountainside in 1936 when he was sixteen years old. The purpose of giving this basic understanding is to help make happy individuals and families at a time when so many people feel there is no purpose in life or ability to save this world from destroying itself. Jo Ann also explains the meaning of the "e;Blessing,"e; which refers to the well-known group wedding ceremonies, a hallmark of the Unification Movement. She was matched by Reverend Moon to a Japanese groom, and they participated in the Blessing ceremony of 2,075 couples in Madison Square Garden, New York, in 1982. ______________________________________________________________________________Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Jo Ann Crooks grew up in the fifties, sixties, and seventies. Like so many children of that time, she grew up in an alcoholic home as her father (a World War II veteran) tried to deal with the horrors of war by drinking. She also grew up as a Catholic, and her early experiences of faith influenced her decision, as a young adult, to join the Unification Church (Unification Movement) and have helped her to continue in the church for over forty years. She considers herself a "e;regular"e; member of the church, not a leader of any kind and a "e;typical"e; American. She has two adult children and two cats and currently lives in Tempe, Arizona, a city near Phoenix.

"e;I'm done peddling a Product I don't believe in anymore."e; Those were my words in 2010, after three dizzying years as a hospice chaplain. The suffering and pain that I encountered shattered all of my Christian cliches and religious ideologies. It also shattered the walls of grief and pain I had erected in my own life, revealing a hidden life lived in abuse and victimization. Everything was shattered. Turns out, shattered was the place of holiness.It was in the shards that remained that I f
This is the story of a white rabbit, who does not like being white. When he enters a magical garden, things happen. This is a teaching book for your child. Racism is generally defined as a person of one race exhibiting superiority over a person of another race. The fallout of such behavior can range from disrespect to intimidation to outright violence. Why does this happen, and what would it take to prevent and stop racial incidents? In this observational analysis, York explores the array of issues that contribute to the problem, including failure to acknowledge the realities of racial employment and violence, failures in individual responsibilities, a lack of focus on our shared Americanism, and direct pot stirring for the purpose of political gain. The good news is that we can absolutely reverse elements of racism out of existence, particularly in view that politicism breeds far more hatred in twenty-first-century America than racism. So turn the book over, start reading, and take note of how you can individually make a difference.
Just Show Up is a children's book for adults who think like children. After watching a series on Oprah about boys without fathers, and raising a son primarily on my own, this short book came to life. Being an adult who has thought like a child at times in her life, the thought of what seems so simple to most sometimes does not dawn on others in relation to simply being physically there for your children. With hope that one page or illustration in this book could help a parent have a better relationship with their children, make better memories, and avoid others, or just start the conversation of what it means to "e;just show up."e;

Calmness The smell of the ocean encourages one to have a peaceful state of mind. The cadets were exchanging stories about all the single and handsome Mortelle Agents especially the ones that peaked their interest. Fawn laid comfortably on a beach towel stretched out across white sand far away from her friends. She was not up to adult chatter especially about men that were training them. She brought books to read that had nothing to do with crime or anything else that required her to think. She left all electronics inside her duffle bag in the hotel room. The surrounding air was crisp and fresh. Fawn was envisioning herself running along the shore line. And possibly hunting for seashells to put inside her small aquarium that she was currently working on. I am curious as to how you apprehended Shelly Wilkinson. The lady was more than dangerous."e; Battle nodded. "e;Fawn, have your ever dated a man seriously? She nodded. Than you should understand, what a man will do to gain your favor. I became the type of man that she wanted. I acted the part of a long-term man for thirty days and then I took it all back."e; Fawn frowned."e;You were sexually involved with a mass murderer for thirty days? And, then you walked away from her. Battle smirked. I would have been terrified."e; "e;No, I would not say all of that. Real terror can never cripple you Fawn. But what can is the constant anticipation of it.DismissAn internal audit of all cases that were still open placed a frown on the Chief Director Lawrence Reeds face. He oversaw the Mortelle Division and expected more from his agents. He quickly made some changes. Director Blanche Kayfus had been replaced. Senior Supervisory Agent Melvin Madoff was offered her position first, but he declined. The position was then offered to Director Jordon Fowler. Madoff was a born field agent, and nothing could replace that for him. Most importantly he did not like bureaucratic bull shit. CompromisePrecious, I would like to start off by saying, the black boots look nice with the pretty gray skirt, but it goes against our uniform policy."e; Precious turned completely around. "e;I do not know which one of those statements insulted my ears the most. Whats' wrong with my boots? The gray skirt is a far cry from being pretty!"e; Phillip looked down at her boots. "e;What happen to the shoes your father bought you?"e; "e;Uncle Phillip, those black shoes are ugly! It's bad enough, I have to wear this tacky skirt set. Now, I cannot wear my boots! What a joke!"e;Entitled Why did you give up your man cave?"e; Scott burst out laughing. "e;Now for three very good reasons, Craig. First of all, I'm tired of smelling weed. Second of all, my father cut my money in half. And, I'm saving the best for last. Paying fourteen hundred monthly verses three hundred makes for a better fiscal responsible man. So, in a nutshell, no sponsorship means no money. I cannot pay bills because of trickle-down economics. Charms does not know about the crib so let's keep it that way, shall we?"e;

Play is very important in a child's life. I personally believe that "e;children learn through play."e;I believe that through play, children learn who they are and what they would like to become as they get older. I believe through play children learn a sense of self. I believe through play children learn how to share. I believe through play children learn how to dream, pretend, show feelings. The legend of King Arthur has been part of the literary fabric of Western culture since at least the time of the early sixth-century Welsh poet Aneirin-principally through Geoffrey of Monmouth's early twelfth-century Historia Britainum, the late twelfth-century romances of Chretien de Troyes, Sir Thomas Mallory's Le Morte d' Arthur (fifteenth century), Tennyson's Idylls of the King, and more recently, in America at least, the narrative poems of Edwin Arlington Robinson and Lerner and Loewe's "e;Camelot,"e; with its emphasis on the illicit love affair of Lancelot and Guenevere. Indeed, so prominent has the legend of King Arthur been in Western culture that before he turned to the Bible to write Paradise Lost, John Milton is said to have considered the Arthurian legend as the subject of an epic poem about the journey of the English people into Christianity. Now, in his Arthuriad, award-winning poet Frank Salvidio retells the story of the internecine rivalries that culminated in the tragic end of Arthur's attempt to found an ideal kingdom based on Christian principles and protected by a brotherhood of Christian warriors-the Knights of the Round Table. The Arthuriad tells the story in a series of dramatic monologues in which all the dramatis personae offer self-revealing recollections of the part each played in the tragedy of Arthur's failed attempt to establish Christian civilization in a pagan world. What emerges is the story of unrestrained human passions undermining the spiritual aspirations on which Arthur sought to establish his ideal kingdom.

I am not a financial adviser. I'm a single father of two with passive income solution. As any parent knows, having kids will teach you lessons in finances that no economics course ever could (although I do have a business degree). When my wife and I divorced in 2018, it was like a bomb went off. I had no more help with childcare, no more partner to stay up at night with a sick baby. I knew I had to get my finances in better shape in order to provide for myself and my family. I knew I wanted to provide for my children and their future, needing such things as college fund, a home where they had more space, and their own rooms. I interacted with the individuals whose finances trumped mine. I began to see patterns on how to make money and what makes someone successful and applied them to my own life. The idea of ways to make money, leveraging my income, and making my money work for me instead me working for it triggered, and it became my goal to build passive income. Especially now, I realize how expensive it is to raise children, be single, and pay for day care. Even though as of writing this book we share the kids fifty-fifty, I still have to take them to day care so I can work. Not all the passive income ideas and tips mentioned in this book will work for you. Personally, I've implemented a few of the tips written. Each tip is different for each individual, and you have to do what you feel is best for you. What works for me may not necessarily work for you, and vice versa. I hope something in this book will ignite that fire in you to run with it in your life. Whether it's to build wealth, add to your retirement, or just put a few more bucks in your pocket, I am sure there's something in here for you. And, oh yes, I would like to thank our Lord and Savior because without Him, none of this would be possible.
