She had been married to Herman Mies Van Der Rohe for some twenty-seven years. Herman was a successful banker. He had joined the Goldsworth Commercial Bank after first graduating from the London Kings College and then the Westminster University, where he studied finance and languages. Herman was born in England, although his mother was Austrian and his father was Swiss. His parents had come to England soon after the end of the Second World War. Matthew 14:25-33nkjv In the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. The disciples saw him walking on the sea, were troubled with fear. Disciples: It is a ghost! Jesus: Be of good cheer! It is I. Do not be afraid. Peter: Lord! If it is You, command me to walk to you on the water. Jesus: Walk! And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous he was afraid, beginning to sink he cried out. Peter: Lord, save me! And immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him. Jesus: O you of little faith, why did you doubt? And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him. Everyone: Truly! You are the Son of God!

All Australians will easily identify with the initial setting of this book, the location of Botany Bay and Captain James Cook being on board the "Endeavour". The book begins with Cook's discovery, his claiming and subsequent skirmish with the local indigenous people, who were at his landing site. These recorded facts are on- going Indigenous Rights issues. The book continues with Cook's return to England, the recording of Cook's journey, altered to suit the state of Affairs, then the delay and planning for the First Fleet to return to Australia, named New South Wales. The introduced fictional character, Lucy, is a young woman, unjustly imprisoned for a crime she did not commit. Lucy is sent as part of the First Fleet, as a convict, deported forever. She establishes a relationship, with an officer on board Phillip's ship, during the journey. Upon arrival at Sydney Cove, within a month, she delivers a baby boy, Toby Malone. He is the first born on these new lands. The hardships and almost failure of the new Colony, at Sydney Cove, increases the already known drama surrounding Australia's early history. As Australians, we acknowledge our early settlers, those who were sent as convicts, those who came in other circumstances. This fictional account creates unknowns, of who were some of our ancestors, and from what place in society did these originate from.
Otard sounds like a name of a Brand of Brandy. In Southeast Asia, Otard would mean "brain," but the spelling would be Otak. This is the story of Otard. This is a true story, but I classified it as fiction as it is too good to be true. No one would have believed that there is such a thing as Otard, a world brain, that manages our daily life. He cooks, cleans, and work, and settings world events. This book is about that particular person, and to clear his name as God of Great Britain, or world brain of the people. This book also deals a lot with paper works, as vision frames, or scrap books experienced and results. The author is not a competent speaker before, but now with the aid of the scrap books and vision charts, he experienced a new tongue and able to communicate freely. He is able to tell the true story of really what happened to him in Great Britain, and how he survived to today. This is the life of a brain, the life of Otard and world events.
This book comes in response to the needs of users of English for the correct usage of vocabulary and expressions and the accurate distinction among their meanings, especially those that are similar in spelling and writing but have different pronunciations and different meanings and those that are similar in pronunciation and sound the same but have different meanings or words that sound the same but are spelled and used differently. The book is concerned with the linguistic and syntactic usage of these words and the differences between them. It is an important reference for learners of English, researchers, specialists, and teachers of English. It explains the proper use of a pair or more of similar words and shows the correct usage of each one of them and provides a semantic analytical study of them. It gives a full explanation of the meaning of each word in both English and Arabic and uses it in a sentence to show the correct context, the grammatical part of speech of every word, and how it functions in meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence. Moreover, the book indicates the IPA phonetic transcription of each main entry, elucidates the anomalous plurals of nouns, and highlights variations between the American and British spelling when they occur.
