Por primera vez, fuera de la Lingüística, existe un grupo de profesionales que buscan respuesta a la pregunta de qué significa conversar. En este manual, sistematizamos el conocimiento actual sobre la conversación, desde la perspectiva empírica del Análisis de la Conversación, la disciplina que estudia las prácticas de habla que los seres humanos aplican, recursivamente, en diferentes contextos y entornos sociales. Como aspecto novedoso, hemos compilado dicho conocimiento dentro de un marco de referencia para la conversación natural, en el que describimos los componentes lingüísticos, pragmáticos y estructurales que la conforman.
