Our life journeys cross many landscapes, some where the terrain is green and lush and others where it is rocky or mountainous. I invite you to go on a series of magical explorations where lessons are learned, pathways are forged, and obstacles are overcome. While the characters include gnomes, dragons, and even a fairy princess, this is built on a true story that highlights the importance of being kind to yourself, aligning your inner resources, and designing your own unique life tapestry-allowing the world to see the truth of who you are. As we each take responsibility for our pathways in life and the possibilities we create, how do we solve the various life puzzles presented to us? Consider:How do you feel you fit in and belong with your family? Are you looking for your "tribe," or have you already found that connection? Are you surrounded by naysayers or cheerleaders?Do you see obstacles or opportunities?Do you honor yourself or allow yourself to be bullied or bully yourself? Do you allow the truth of who you are to shine through?

In this series, I intend to share my knowledge and experiences. This first book, Interviewing Quick Guide: The Art and Craft, is intended to help writers and other interviewers and their subjects have the best interviewing experience as possible. I hope you en-joy the book and the process. You might wonder why I would write a book like this. It dawned on me some time ago that there is an art to conducting an interview. I have been a writer for over 40 years and have my own marketing company, Convey Media Group. We help clients, especially independent authors and innovators, with social media and video as well as branding and other traditional marketing. In retrospect, I realize I have been interviewing folks for most of those years whether gathering software requirements as a technical writing in a major corporation or while working as a video producer for promotional videos.I ran the video committee for the Digital Marketing For Business conference and our group did video interviews with most of the speakers. As I worked with my committee members, some were more comfortable handling these interviews than others. Some interviewers felt more in their element because they had an understanding of the technology. Others seemed to draw comfort from their ability to prepare ques-tions that would set the interviewee at ease. I realized that there were a few tips and techniques that helped many of the interviewers. This book is my attempt to share some of that knowledge with you so you can up your game the next time you do an in-terview. Although we did not find any hard and fast rules, the experience did provide some important clues to increase the interviewer's comfort and run smoother sessions.

Write a Fiction Book in 4 Weeks is designed to help writers, especially those who are embarking on their first fiction book, to get into the flow of the writing process. I also wrote this book with the intention of helping those authors who started their books and left them incomplete.Additionally, the auhor hopes a few ideas will aid writers who have already completed one or more short stories, novellas or novels. Sometimes even seasoned authors face writer's block or bumps in the road on the way to completing a manuscript.Writing a book can be daunting. What if you could start with just one minute a day for the first week to get started? This is a guide about how to start by planning and then how to keep going by completing exercises ranging from that one minute for the first week and building to 55+ minutes the final week. The book's exercises are separated into four chapters following this introduction. Each of these chapters takes the writer through a series of seven exercises for the week. One of the major difficulties in writing a book is the continuous effort required. As a result, many people begin but do not finish.
