Self-Sovereign Identity ist ein in der Entwicklung befindliches Paradigma für digitale Interaktionen. Daniel Richter analysiert die Auswirkungen der Anwendung neuartiger Ansätze dieses Paradigmas auf reale Geschäftsszenarien am Beispiel von kommerziellen Ladeprozessen von Elektrofahrzeugen. Unter Verwendung der Methode Service Design for Business Process Reengineering wird ein Konzept für eine E-Roaming-Dienstleistung erstellt. Dieses beruht auf den für Self-Sovereign Identity zentralen Standards Verifiable Credentials und Decentralized Identifiers. Anhand dieses Konzepts wird gezeigt, dass Registrierungs- und Authentifizierungsprozesse durch die Anwendung von Self-Sovereign-Identity-Ansätzen verändert werden. Dabei hängt eine verbesserte Kundenerfahrung maßgeblich vom Maß der Integration von Wallet-Software in die jeweiligen Dienstleistungsprozesse ab. Ferner ergeben sich Veränderungen in der Aufgabenverteilung der an der Dienstleistung beteiligten Akteure. Anhand der Analyse eines realen Geschäftsszenarios werden offene Punkte in der Entwicklung von Self-Sovereign Identity hervorgehoben. Dazu gehört insbesondere die Standardisierung von Datenschemata, welche für die Interoperabilität der neuartigen Ansätze unerlässlich ist.

The relationship between teacher and student is an important element of school education and as such irreplaceable: If we want schools to be good places for those who teach and learn there, we must make sure that the educational relationships between teachers and students are good, too.In research about school education, surprisingly little attention is paid to the normative dimension of the relationship between teacher and student. This lacuna points to a desideratum in the philosophy of education: More should be said about the normative structure of the teacher-student relationship, its role in teaching and learning, and its final value for teacher and student.Answering these fundamental philosophical questions is the core of this book. It offers a normatively rich concept of a good teacher-student relationship that is based on the analysis of two major relationship goods: trust and care. Moreover, the book explains the instrumental value of a good educational relationship forthe student¿s achievement of epistemic aims of school education as well as the final value of such a relationship for teacher and student.

Fluid mechanical aspects of separated and vortical flow in aircraft wing aerodynamics are treated. The focus is on two wing classes: (1) large aspect-ratio wings and (2) small aspect-ratio delta-type wings. Aerodynamic design issues in general are not dealt with.Discrete numerical simulation methods play a progressively larger role in aircraft design and development. Accordingly, in the introduction to the book the different mathematical models are considered, which underlie the aerodynamic computation methods (panel methods, RANS and scale-resolving methods). Special methods are the Euler methods, which as rather inexpensive methods embrace compressibility effects and also permit to describe lifting-wing flow.The concept of the kinematically active and inactive vorticity content of shear layers gives insight into many flow phenomena, but also, with the second break of symmetry---the first one is due to the Kutta condition---an explanation of lifting-wing flow fields. The prerequisite is an extended definition of separation: ¿flow-off separation¿ at sharp trailing edges of class (1) wings and at sharp leading edges of class (2) wings. The vorticity-content concept, with a compatibility condition for flow-off separation at sharp edges, permits to understand the properties of the evolving trailing vortex layer and the resulting pair of trailing vortices of class (1) wings. The concept also shows that Euler methods at sharp delta or strake leading edges of class (2) wings can give reliable results.Three main topics are treated:1) Basic Principles are considered first: boundary-layer flow, vortex theory, the vorticity content of shear layers, Euler solutions for lifting wings, the Kutta condition in reality and the topology of skin-friction and velocity fields.2) Unit Problems treat isolated flow phenomena of the two wing classes. Capabilities of panel and Euler methods are investigated. One Unit Problem is the flow past the wing of the NASA Common Research Model. Other Unit Problems concern the lee-side vortex system appearing at the Vortex-Flow Experiment 1 and 2 sharp- and blunt-edged delta configurations, at a delta wing with partly round leading edges, and also at the Blunt Delta Wing at hypersonic speed.3) Selected Flow Problems of the two wing classes. In short sections practical design problems are discussed. The treatment of flow past fuselages, although desirable, was not possible in the frame of this book.

During the last decades, a considerable amount of research has been directed towards explaining the concept of Digital Human Resource Management (DHRM). Yet, a holistic assessment of DHRM antecedents and consequences with respect to possible contextual contingencies is still missing. To this end, this thesis introduces a research framework illuminating the multifaceted phenomenon of DHRM from various perspectives. An exploratory four-step meta-analytic structural equation modelling (E-MASEM) approach tailored to address the domain-specific challenges of DHRM is introduced and applied. Results identify 32 constructs associated with the DHRM usage phenomenon which are categorized into DHRM antecedents and DHRM consequences. Findings reveal that user perceptions, expectations, attitudes, and intentions are essential in predicting DHRM usage while HRM service quality and user satisfaction are found crucial in explaining other DHRM consequences. Further, practitioners are informed about therelative importance of factors for both facilitating DHRM adoption and measuring DHRM success. Lastly, this thesis also contributes to the MASEM methodology by outlining a new approach to summarize statistical inferences from multiple moderator tests.
