The book explains the rise of BRICS as a decisive group in the present world affairs. It emphasizes the significance of Russian and Chinese foreign policies concerning the BRICS group and how these two countries are using the group to promote their national interests. It also examines the causes of close association of Russia and China within the BRICS group. It illuminates the changing political dynamics of the world. This research contains the scope to unravel the strength of BRICS and Russia and China's foreign policy strategies. The study explains the change in global politics in post covid-19 international affairs. It analyses whether BRICS has the potential to play a decisive role in emerging international politics. The methodology adopted consists of three components: Quantitative method and Qualitative method along with a field trip to Russia to conduct surveys and interviews. The approach has been analytical and descriptive, and both primary and secondary sources havebeen consulted.
This textbook contains the contents coming from hydraulics, hydrodynamics, chemical principles, chemical reaction engineering and bioengineering, which relates closely with fundamental principles in environmental engineering. It mainly covers principles including basic concepts, theories, methods and related equipment in fluid flow and transportation, heat transfer, absorption, chemical and biological reaction kinetics and reactors, as well as their applications in environmental engineering. At same time, the readers learns the basic viewpoints and methods commonly used in engineering technology, such as balance method, reasonable simplification, dimensional analysis method, boundary layer theory, optimization and mathematical model method. It broadens the student's understanding in solving those problems in environmental engineering, and enhances their awareness of industrialization. This book is the specialized foundation and principles for learning the professional courses of environmental engineering, such as "water pollution control," "air pollution control," "solid waste treatment and disposal" and "ecological restoration engineering", while avoiding the repetition of the contents of those professional books.
This textbook is intended as a core text for courses on aeroelasticity or aero-elasto-mechanics for senior undergraduate/graduate programs in aerospace and mechanical engineering. The book focuses on the basic understanding of the concepts required in learning about aeroelasticity, from observation, reasoning, and understanding fundamental physical principles. Fundamental and simple mathematics will be introduced to describe the features of aeroelastic problems, and to devise simple concurrent physical and mathematical modeling. It will be accompanied by the introduction and understandings of the mechanisms that create the interactions that generate the aeroelastic phenomena considered. The students will also be led to the relation between observed phenomena, assumptions that may have to be adopted to arrive at physical and mathematical modelling, interpreting and verifying the results, and the accompanied limitations, uncertainties and inaccuracies. The students will also be introduced to combine engineering problem solving attitude and determination with simple mechanics problem-solving skills that coexist harmoniously with a useful mechanical intuition.
This book explores the issue of graduate employability in regional Vietnam. It provides a critical discussion of not only the demands of the labour market but also the practices and challenges in the development of graduate employability and career capacity building at the national, institutional and individual levels. It discusses graduate employability in Vietnam by analysing government and institutional policies and taking into account the perspectives and experiences of three key stakeholders: employers, graduates and universities. The book highlights the development of ¿employability in context¿ for graduates in regional Vietnam to be able to adapt to the specific social, cultural and demographic conditions of the region and tackle new employment challenges.
This book constitutes selected papers of the 19th International Conference on Computer-Aided Architectural Design Futures, CAAD Futures 2021, held in Los Angeles, CA, USA, in July 2021. The 33 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 97 submissions.
This book contains a classic guide to historical study of early modern Chinese fiction from the late Qing Dynasty till early republican China.
