After being diagnosed with autism at age seven, Keara faced various challenges socially and struggled to find acceptance from her peers. In her 20's Keara still encounters similar struggles with dating and making friends. However, the obstacles she has faced throughout her life have helped shape her into the strong woman she is today. I Only See in Black & White covers a wide range of topics, such as food sensitivities, rejection, employment for autistic individuals, and body image issues. Through writing this book, Keara hopes that others with autism will be inspired to share their story and come to terms with their diagnosis. At last, the in-depth original meaning of Lao Zi in the Dao De Jing scripture is being studied and translated into English. A number of terminologies used in the original text in Chinese had been analysed, explained and translated into English. Some terms in Chinese without the parallel meaning in English were fully explained and Hanyu Pinyin was used. Examples are 'yin', 'yang', 'hun', 'po', 'jing', 'qi', 'shen' and 'wu-wei'. Lao Zi was the first "Prophet" to explain "Dao" and "Dao cultivation", including nurturing one's moral virtue. Also, the philosophy of governance and military philosophy were also fully explained.

Debt and bad management drove Abraham Gesner off his farm in Nova Scotia's bucolic Annapolis Valley in 1825. It turned out to be a stroke of luck. While doing medical courses in London hospitals, he encountered the industrial revolution. Attending sundry lectures and demonstrations, he got his first whiff of the rapidly developing new sciences of chemistry, geology and natural history. He was hooked! Back home , traveling about the country visiting patients, he honed his observational skills, finally producing pioneering geological surveys of all three Maritime provinces. Imitating procedures which he had first observed while abroad, he experimented with "cracking" coal to generate the tars, oils and gases which fueled the industrial revolution In the process, he produced "kerosene" - an illuminating gas and an oil - which revolutionized artificial lighting and generated much industry. Because he explored with native guides and advocated on their behalf, he served for a time as Indian Commissioner. An engaging lecturer, he addressed audiences on many scientific subjects and developed the region's first natural history museum; he wrote articles and books describing the region and extolling its potential for development. His final publication was a textbook of hydrocarbon chemistry. Local lawsuits over mining rights and patent infringements caused him to move to New York. Still more lawsuits drove him back to his native land where he died, shortly after being appointed to a coveted lectureship in Dalhousie University.

While Mr. Millar obviously does not take his passion for hunting to the same murderous extreme as does General Zaroff, - of hunting even people for sport,- Mr. Millar could, I suspect, empathize with the General's feelings about hunting in general when Zaroff says to fellow hunting expert, Sangor Rainsford.
