Modern Manufacturing Methodologies have undergone three different evolutionary stages over the past 200 years. Before there were modern manufacturing plants, the world only knew skilled craftsmen who labored as individuals in very small groups to produce goods and services. The first factory evolution came about when James Watt invented the steam engine. Metal cutting, forming and assembly machines were co-located near streams or rivers forming what we now call the Job Shop or the American Armory System. The second factory evolution began when Henry Ford introduced the first modern assembly line using interchangeable parts and standardized manufacturing procedures. This gave rise to the modern flow shop, which reached its zenith during WW II. In the late 1970's, the third industrial evolution began when Taiichi Ohno and the Toyota Motor Company introduced what we now call Lean Manufacturing...and the world came. Over the last 30 years, all forms of manufacturing and service systems have embraced the concepts of Lean Thinking and proved its superiority to traditional manufacturing and service systems design. This is a book which clearly explains the fundamental concepts of Lean Manufacturing, It also defines and characterizes a new breed of Manufacturing Engineer which we call the Lean Engineer. The Lean Engineer has roots in traditional Industrial engineering, but is also well trained in six-sigma methodologies and understands lean to green factory design principles. However, Lean Engineering transcends and redefines the classic Industrial engineer. Principles of Lean systems design, U-shaped Lean manufacturing cells, Linked Cell Manufacturing System design and Mixed Model final assembly lines are unique Lean Engineering strategies. This book attempts to define the Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing and Introduces Lean System Design principles.· Demonstrates the conversion of traditional manufacturing lines into U-shaped Lean Cells· Contrasts push versus pull manufacturing strategies· Covers Balancing, Leveling and System synchronization· Describes and gives examples of Single and dual card Kanban Systems· Discusses the Role of Maintenance, Reliability and Quality Assurance in Lean Manufacturing· Includes over 150 Homework questions or problems and two comprehensive case studies This book serves as a college textbook for any Introductory Lean Manufacturing course for Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business Course. It is also an excellent reference book for Industrial Manufacturing Engineers who wish to implement Lean Concepts and Lean Thinking.

The two most important events in the history of mankind are the Birth of Jesus Christ and the Death of Jesus Christ. When Christ was about 30 years old, He began His ministry of reconciliation at the River Jordan where He was baptized by John. This began a 3.5 year period of time during which Christ revealed Himself as the Son of God who would redeem all men from the curse of sin, and offer eternal life to all who would believe in faith that He had come to save mankind. This 3.5-year period of time ended in Jerusalem when Christ was crucified on the Cross of Calvary as the perfect sacrificial Lamb of God who would shed His blood for the forgiveness of sin. Christ was crucified, died and buried and after 3 days He rose from the grave. This book is about the last 50 days from when Christ entered Jericho on His way to Jerusalem and when He ascended to the Father. It presents in detail a detailed Chronological record of all that Christ said and did over those last 50 days. What did Jesus say? What did He do? Where did He go? The following topics are discussed and supported by Holy Scripture. The 7 Feasts of Israel The Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ A Discussion and Explanation of What Christ Said and Did over the last 50 days Scriptural Proof that Jesus Lay in the Tomb for 3 Full Days and 3 Full Nights Scriptural Proof that Jesus died in 30 AD A Complete Exposition and Explanation of the Olivet Discourse The Lord's Last Supper The Prophetic Words of Christ Concerning the Rapture and End-time-Events The Betrayal of Christ The Jewish, Roman Hearings and Trials which Condemned Christ A Harmonization of the Visits of the Women to the Tomb of Christ Post-Resurrection Appearances of Jesus ChristThis Book was written for every Person who wants to know Jesus Christ. It should be valuable to every Christian. It is ideally suited for a Bible Study Group or Home Church Group.
There are reasons to believe that this Age of Grace or the Church Age is nearing the end. Of course, no one knows when the Great Tribulation period of time will begin...only God the Father knows. Every Christian is waiting expectantly for the 2nd return of Jesus Christ. He left as a suffering Servant but one day He will return as a conquering King. That will not happen until the Tribulation period has been completed. What will happen then? The Average Christian has little or no knowledge of what will happen after the ecclesia or the "called" out will be raptured away by Jesus Christ. Our reward will not only be to spend eternity with Christ, but will also include special duties as we serve our Lord and Savior for 1000 years during the Millennial Kingdom. It will be a golden age during which our Lord and Savior will rule and reign from his palace and throne in Israel. How will the earth be changed in the Millennial Kingdom? What special role will the Jews play? What will be the worldwide political and social structure? What are the Bema Seat, the Great White Throne and the Sheep and Goat Judgments? Will the Millennial Kingdom have sin and sinful people? Who will rule and reign during this Kingdom? How will this world end? Where will we spend eternity? What is the New Jerusalem? What is the final fate of Satan and his demons?
