"Don't Send Yourself to Hell" is a short explanation of how to get into Heaven, or at least how not to "not" get into Heaven. Written by a compassionate 91-year-old nurse whose sole purpose for writing this book is to help people who might otherwise unknowingly slip past the Pearly Gates, pass up the Kingdom of Heaven and find themselves in Hell.Written in an easy to read style that lends itself to understanding and comprehension, this tiny, non denominational book can change and save lives.A great book to leave on an airplane or train for the next person to find.

The lord wants to bless us so we can be a blessing to others and not walk away from hungry and hurting people. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, the gospel of Luke 10:25-37, the lawyer asked Jesus how to obtain eternal life. Jesus asked him what the law said. And he said, to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said that was correct. Then the lawyer asked who is my neighbor? Jesus replied and told him a parable about a man who was robbed and beat up and left for dead on the side of the road. A Priest and a Levite passed by and did not pay any attention to him. Then the Good Samaritan passed by and helped him by cleaning him up and bringing him to a hotel to stay until he was well and gave the inn keeper money in advance for anything that the man needed, and if there was any more money owing he would pay the inn keeper when he returned.Would you be willing, and in the position to help the wounded man on the side of the road or would you just walk on by?

"From the mind of a Servant" is a book of devotionals written from the struggles and victories of a Humble Servant of God who lost his way; and encountered emotional turmoil and trauma on his journey back to his Savior's arms. This book began as an expression of emotions and his experiences with God in his moments of dire need. He wanted to share and motivate others with similar struggles. He began by sharing these devotionals, via text, to friends and family. Many have expressed how his words and honesty had ministered to their lives and motivated them to turn to God. He began to see the possibility of reaching more people by publishing a book of devotionals with the hope of motivating many more to call on the Lord in their time of need.
Years ago, I watched younger people than I asking questions about some things I had considered established facts. I wondered why they did not know this or that. Then, I realized they did not know because they had not been told. I decided right then and there, when I retired, I would write a book to enlighten these young minds with some words of wisdom from the past. I have assembled some stories from my life that will inform you. Some will entertain you. Others will make you laugh. Some will make you cry. Some will make you laugh so hard you will cry. And even some of our ancestry is very interesting. As you read each story, I hope you will look forward to what I might say next! It is my sincere hope that you enjoy reading this book as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
