The Psychology of God is a scientific study of various aspects of human development and behavior taken from both a theological and psychological perspective. The main premise is this: If we are called children of God, then how we grew physically as children may be associated with how we grow spiritually as children of God; furthermore, how God raised us as His children may reflect how we should raise our children. The Psychology of God points out that modern scientific psychology has discovered that ancient references to the heart, body, mind, and soul correspond to the modern understanding of these four components of which a human being is comprised. However, in other aspects, such as psychological therapy, the Bible and Modern Psychology differ immensely. While the author openly admits his belief in a personal God, The Psychology of God is a scientific work based on scientific facts. In-text citations reference the peer-reviewed sources of statements and claims made throughout the book. An extensive bibliography list offers and encourages the reader to dig deeper into the psychology of God; and discover their purpose in life, which is the road to happiness and life satisfaction. Dr. Eric J. Kolb was born and raised on a farm in Nineveh, PA. His father was a professional football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his mom was and still is a cowgirl. When He was two, he and his adopted sister were sleeping in their crib when a fire broke out. His dad was able to climb into a second-story window and save the two kids. Thus, Kolb grew up knowing that God had a special purpose for his life. In high school, Kolb started with a very promising future in sports, but injuries, most likely due to muscle dystrophy, led him down an academic path. Upon graduation with a bachelor's in Math from Ohio University, Kolb wanted to spend a summer in Germany as a street performer. Kolb became a professional performing artist, but once again, his illness changed his path. Thus, Kolb went back to school, obtained his master's in psychological counseling and later his Ph.D. in general psychology.

This book is a collection of mainly Christian poems. Julie has written some others that are included because she felt they could come under the title of "Broken Treasures". As we can see in our life, in our world and in others the brokenness that sin brings about. Truly, it is only through Jesus Christ that reconciliation to God, forgiveness of sin, and the mending of brokenness comes about. When we are transformed by Christ, we are God's treasure. It is Julie's prayer that God receives glory in this book. May the Lord God be with you, bless you and bring His peace to you.

GOD'S WISDOM from BIBICAL WOMEN to AFRICAN-AMERICAN WOMEN is a religious book discussing women of all ages, cultures, nationalities, and generations who sought God's revelation through His Word, the Holy Bible. These women believed, trusted, and had continuous "faith" that the Lord will see them though any incurred diversity of life. This empowered faith offered words of wisdom and assistance for these women to trust and have confidence in God. It talks of "giants" these women faced daily and how to defeat them. These women include: Women of the Old Testament, the New Testament, African-American "Firsts," the "Yes, We Still Can" Women movement of the Obama Era, and more "Distinguished Women" of today who have made a difference in today's society. Reverend Elizabeth Pettiford McCoy is an associate pastor of Lawson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Roxboro, North Carolina, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a retired school counselor and Bible School teacher, but most of all she is a "Child of God." She is also a community leader with a "Masters in Divinity." She believes in education and assisting others to learn of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This book is her debut in publishing God's Word. It shows a powerful comparison in "Women of the Bible" and "Hard Working African-American Women" of the past and today. I thank God for given her the courage, vision and agility to write this book.
"God I'm Gone Make You Proud of Me" is the title of this book because that's what I used to pray at night before I got hit by a car and knocked forty feet down the street. I was in a coma for three weeks in I.C.U, breathing on a ventilator and I also had head trauma. When I came to I was badly bruised, the skin was off my face and I had to learn how to walk again. I came home I was in a wheelchair the doctors said my legs wasn>t going to bend again but they do and all of my memory came back too. I could remember everything before and after I got hit but I just can>t remember the accident. The poems "He Has Always Been There" and "Time Will Tell", I wrote them in middle school, during that time I wanted to be a rapper because I knew God had blessed me with a gift.So when I feel some type of way I write. "Don't Pity Me" and "Don't Complain" I wrote some years later. I have written raps and other poems also but some of them wasn't appropiate for this book of poetry. "God I'm Gonna Make You Proud of Me" tells how I feel and my opinions about certain situations in life that we all face. During this pandemic I got some of my poems I had written over the years, put them together to create this book. During this time is when I wrote Coronavirus. I do pray this book does> make God proud of me. Hello, my name is Jacqueline Denise Thomas. I have lived in Brighton and Bessemer, Alabama all of my life. I must say life hasn't been easy. I have faced some ups and downs, changes and turnarounds. Sometimes I have felt like giving up. My relationship with God and my faith keeps me pushing on. I have always felt like God has always had something for me to do. Growing up I used to play around rapping, which is poetry. My book is to give God the glory by telling my life story. I sat down during the epidemic and hand wrote some poems I had written over the years. I pray something is said to uplift your spirit. encourage or help you through life's journey. God is who He says He is. No burdens we have to bear.Take everything to Him in prayer and learn how to leave it there. Thanks for taking the timeout to look at my book. I wish everybody blessings, prosperity and good health. Receive it and believe it.

"Is the Bible accurate?" "Why are there so many versions of the Bible?" "Why are there so many versions of Christianity?" "Can Muslims get to heaven in Christianity?" and "Why don't Christians acknowledge Muhammad?" The Bible says many things about unity and I believe that the greatest weapon that the Church has to defeat the devil is unity. However on the other hand the greatest tool the devil has to defeat the Church is to create division. This understanding did not come from my knowledge, but by revelation of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of this book is to create an awareness through the truth that is in the Bible, to help the Church and the body of Christ be victorious not only corporately but individually as well. I believe that many of our rights as Christians have been taken away from us, for example prayer in the schools, the ten commandments on the wall of public buildings, the murder of unborn children and the right to call sin exactly what it is sin from the pulpit. Because special interest groups have come together as one, being united with no division and are being successful with accomplishing their goals. It is my hope that Christians will realize that if we come together as one body, set aside denominational differences, doctrine differences, ethnic differences and cultural differences that we can control what happens in governments, reinstate morals and values into our societies, communities and families and bring back the Godly principals that made America great and other cultures around the world. We are under the greatest attack that we have been under as Christians, our rights and freedoms to worship our God is in jeopardy. If there was ever a time in history to come together as one body it is now.

Balancing schoolwork and planning are the challenges that teenagers face. The key that Jesus wants us to know is that we are not by ourselves. Even the unexpected disappointments in life, when things do not go our way, do not have to be losses that we suffer through alone. Jesus is The Light of Life. He said that his word is life and spirit, and he promises that his words are the truth that we can live by. You can be sure that he will be there to see you through. Jesus wants you to understand how you feel. He said that we are not victims but victors. We can do all things through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:13 KJV Jesus was an overcomer, and we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37 ESV you don't have to struggle to fit in. Prayer and determination are powerful tools. Remember your faith will take you as far as you want to go! Failure is giving up! Stay encouraged! Pray, wait, and watch how GOD will move in your life. You can do all things through Christ Jesus!

This book is chapter 22, taken from the 28 chapters of ʺThe Secrets of Godʺ, the culmination of a seven year study regarding the authenticity of the King James Bible. It demonstrates how the signature of Jesus Christ is written in all his creation, in the elements, and even how the Cross is hidden away in Numbers 2 in the formation of the Israelites around the wilderness tabernacle. Not only does this formation take the shape of a cross but the camp of Judah numbered at 186,400. Jesus was born of the tribe of Judah and that figure is very near the speed of light which is 186,282 mps, in English miles, a measurement which wasn't established until 1620. But even yet 400 is the absolute value of the 22nd Hebrew letter which also took the form of the cross and means light. Jesus himself said, ʺI am the light of the world.ʺ As the title suggests this book is centered around the cross, the 22nd Hebrew letter Tau, and the secrets of God that have been hidden away in the Bible for centuries until now. It is a breathtaking journey through the Word of God filled with amazing new discoveries.

Jobe Syndrome is a condition of spiritual distress that involves disappointment with God over the "Why?" questions: Why didn't you answer my prayer? Why did you let me contract cancer? Why is there so much pain and suffering in your world? Disappointment with God can progress to anger and disbelief: Where was God when I was abused? I wonder whether God exists (agnosticism) God does not exist (atheism) Satan is god (satanism) Much of the spiritual distress is emotional rather than intellectual, and this book offers a protocol for healing Jobe's painful emotions. Most of the content addresses the intellectual component: Science offers evidence for the existence of God} (There is an Intelligent Designer of the universe) Science offers evidence for the existence of evil (there is an original sin) Science offers evidence for the benevolence of God (God cares about us) "Your book has taken many ideas that I had over my life struggling with providing answers to friends and family on why God seems to have abandoned them? Is there a God?... Your writings have reinforced my thoughts on this. They have brought together many fragmented pieces of my education, both intellectual and spiritual, in one place...almost like you wrote this book for me! Thank you for sharing your manuscript with me. You have touched my life with it." Robert Cencer "I truly enjoyed reading [your manuscript]. You're right - it's not the usual kind of spiritual reading. But for those who question the existence of God, it is a MUST read. Actually, it's a MUST read for believers to strengthen their faith and help them argue the existence of God. The book could be considered a foundational level of Apologetics, where the existence of God is decisively defended." Philip Cousino "The book you're about to read will offer you the strong possibility, if not the certainty, that God is real." John Hausmann Eugene Hausmann has a BA from Notre Dame University (where he majored in Theology and Chemistry), an MA from the Catholic Theological Union of Chicago (where he studied under the editors of Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science), and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Ecumenical Theological Seminary of Detroit. In 40 years of ministry, working with struggling people in the intimate setting of a counseling office, I have discovered two things: Damaged relationships are terribly common, and many people don't know what to do about them. Most people do the best they know to do, but relational healing is not accomplished when we fail to do the needed thing, or worse, do something else that actually increases the damage. In this writing, I help my reader gain a better grasp on the tools needed to repair damaged relationships and enable the proper use of them. Until we know to do better, we typically continue to do the things that don't work. Repairing damaged relationships is often very difficult at best; attempting the work without necessary knowledge and skills, however, is impossible. What you will read herein can help you address damage to relationships, whether you caused the damage or you have suffered damage as a result of another's actions. My family of origin did not equip me with these truths. Grasping them has helped me build better relationships in God's wisdom. You can, too!
This book will provide the basic synopsis of various journeys we face daily and a spiritual guide to how not to only give up, but how to successfully seek Him in each path. Thus, this manuscript will help us to take ourselves out of the equation of chaos and create a working goal towards intertwining with God as well as understanding His plan. There are mechanisms included to provide how our fears and selfishness can, at times, reveal our dark side. However, there are Scriptures that can and will help us to understand how to transition spiritually and maintain the faith, even under extreme and seemingly impossible circumstances. Consistent Bible reading and increased faith will be the support system while facing the overbearing challenges that life has to offer. This book, too, will offer guidance when faced with various conflicts of life and the evils placed on various journeys we encounter. The purpose of this book is to enlighten the many levels of what we encounter in life and how we should not focus primarily on the journey that He has led us, but the salvation we will gain. Thine O LORD, you are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt yourself as the ruler of all. You are the source of wealth and honor; you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give thanks to you and praise your majestic name! - 1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. - Revelation 5:11- 14One of the important things to know about the majesty and make-up of God's names is that they carry weight. They matter. Attached to each of God's names is a set of character qualities, promises and meanings. And unless you fully understand and know them, you run the risk of not accessing or utilizing them to the fullest potential that God has designed. This book was written to spark enthusiasm for recognition of the presence of God's handiwork. This book is comprised of several stories; although each individual story is different, it is apparent that God is at work 'behind the scenes' by the end of every person's story. In the similar instance, Jacob also took notice of God's presence in Genesis 28:16 and we too tend to pick up on His presence after He has attempted to prove His presence time after time.So please relax with your drink of choice and take a gander at the individual stories. I assure you each one's story is both factual as well as intriguing.Though this is Marlon Jones' first book, I surmise you will discover that this book was a catalyst for the great storyteller that he is. He has a perspective and outlook on various situations. His unique knack for reflecting on his life makes room for the Holy Spirit to move throughout his life. He currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana and he enjoys listening to music, reading and quiet time.
It's been said Salvation is the greatest gift God has given the sinner. It's also been said that the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is God's greatest gift to the believer once they have been saved. This wonderful discussion on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is actually a series of journals we wrote over a course of a decade many years ago but redited them into this book regarding a very important, yet controversial subject regarding tongues, the gifts of the Spirit and the mighty Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Other than the Rapture and the Atonement, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues is one of the most attacked doctrines in the Body of Christ. We hope these journals we have put in book form will encourage your walk with God and give you hope and a blueprint to seek this mighty infilling of the Spirit. This book is not for the sinner, for the sinner cannot receive the things of God. This book is for the saint with a hungry and seeking heart. The material may be dated many years back, the message however is eternal and still current and relevant! Enjoy this journey with us!
