It all began when Dona experienced a supernatural manifestation of the Glory of God, just like Moses. She saw what she explains as looking into The Glory. This was like looking into a giant sun and was the brightest biggest light she has ever seen. She then heard an audible still sweet gentle male voice that gave her this instruction. "All you have to do is have faith and she will live." You will find this story in chapter 1, Glorious Appearing As you journey through the pages with Dona you will understand and be able to see how Jesus has touched and changed her life. She has seen for herself signs, miracles, and wonders, and will show you how to see Jesus, to hear Jesus and experience Jesus every day of your life for yourself. She wants everyone to experience a friendship, love and understanding of Jesus for themselves. Did you know that when you believe, you will receive all of what Jesus died to give you? When you walk with Jesus you will see how much fun He is. Oh how Jesus Loves each and every one of you. Dona Beyer loves Jesus and is happily married to Scott. Her heart is for everyone to experience the heart of her Father, Jesus through Holy Spirit, and to grow in His Presence, His Power, His Love, His leading, and how to flow with Him. Learn how Holy Spirit brings each of us into that heart to heart connection with Jesus. Dona will give you her stories and share her supernatural experiences that she recognizes as signs miracles and wonders that Jesus is still doing today. Dona prays that this book will bring you expressions of Jesus heart as you journey with her into how God always has something to say.
This book is about being raised in a community that was more like a village wherein every adult took on the position of being your parent. It's about being raised in the time of segregation and a being raised poor yet blessed by God who always has been a provider in the time of need. It gives funny illustrations that actually happened in my life with me and my family members. It tells how God has blessed me over the years to conduct, direct and serve as minister of music for many church choirs and gospel groups. It summarize my life, my faith, my hope and my desire to be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.in my Christian growth. My name is Edward James Wilson and I was reared in the Bells Mill section of Chesapeake, Virginia. My joy is preaching the word of God and serving as Minister of Music for over 50 years playing the organ, piano and keyboard. I love conducting gospel music workshops and writing gospel songs. This book started as a memoire for my wife and children and grandchildren to read about my up-bringing. Before I knew it that turned into a full book written in a period of over ten years writing off and on.
This book is a pathway to allow others to define themselves. A way to get away from the numbness of being hurt understanding the root issues that got them to such a place. A way to stand in front of the mirror per-say and own the right to be free and possibly not visit the dark places again. Regain a sense of wholeness in God while he is the pilot, and we are just on the journey to see it all come together. In the end, we see how the responsibility is our own. Loving ourselves when others cannot seem to love us. Bridging the gaps between two different worlds understanding it was never two but only one. Annette lives in South Carolina with her devoted husband and exceptional son. Along with our daughter who is currently serving her country and enjoying the beauty of the Low-country. Annette now writes and continues in pursuit of other innovative and creative arts.
The Beginning is about the introduction of angels and man's free will. How their able to make choices. Yes, the choices we make come with consciences whether good or bad depending upon the choice. It's also about how good and evil first became introduced into our existence. God desires for us to choose him and He will not stop at nothing to get our attention however He has to do it. Even Though our evil desire pushes us away from God, He still stands by our side fighting for us and not giving up on us up until death. I was born in Akron, Ohio on October 2, 1981. Growing up I lived with my mother and three brothers. At age of 11 my younger brother set the apartment we were staying in on fire so I had to go stay with my father and his girlfriend. My father's girlfriend would make us go to church. Being a kid I never knew what it meant to have a real relationship with God. I just knew to call on him when you needed Him. I was curious about God. As I grew up and became an adult I went through some things and got into church myself. I put everything into making sure I was displayed to God that I was showing Him the love He deserves. In 2008 seven months after I had my second child. I went through a period where I was being tested. I was hospitalized five times. I guess you can say it was a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that I received The Beginning from the Lord once I passed my test. The curse was the process of going through, but once I realized what was going on and my fifth time in the hospital. I began to fight back, by not fearing and putting God's word on anything the devil throws at me. It's been about 10 years since my last hospitalization and I'm doing really well. It's amazing what God can do. I'm married with four kids. God is good!
Christians can inherit the sin that Adam committed and live in the bondage of sin with a sense of guilt. They said that Jesus paid for our sins on the cross. However, there are still many Christians who are obsessed with this problem ourselves and think we need to solve it ourselves. This book is for such Christians. The author recommends escaping from the seriousness of life. He says Jesus already solved it. And he says that all world events are virtual reality. He encourages us to look at the world objectively from the point of view of an observer from a subjective standpoint. That is why I encourage you to focus on the present and live with gratitude instead of being caught up in the past. He says that you should not focus on the outward aspects but find your true self within you. Then, you must find Christ in who we were as Adam. Our future is Christ. Through Christ, we can transcend our bodies and the world, and enter the kingdom of God on this earth. Author Sam Kim was born and raised in Korea, received religious education in a Christian family, and studied the Presbyterian College in Korea. And when he came to America, he was influenced by Neville Goddard and Eckhart Tolle, and their ideology approached with an oriental thought that was not unfamiliar to him, who was familiar with Eastern culture and life. So, as a Christian with an oriental background, he candidly and frankly looks at God and pours out his confession.
Why am I writing this? Quite simply because I Love Our God; I Love People, and I Love living in the Greatest Country in the world; a Country where my Dad was "M.I.A., presumed dead" for 17 months after WWII; A Country where so many brave men and women have given their all for; a Country where we have and will continue to, overcome anything that divides us; and we will continue to do so, by living "In God We Trust." However, the devil is now obviously working diligently to divide us, and now is the time for ALL People of God, People of Faith, People of Hope, and People of Love, to come TOGETHER and return Our Country, and so many souls, to "In God We Trust." Please read, so we can come TOGETHER and join hands, hearts, and prayers, "In God We Trust". I am 81 years old, married for 58 years, with four wonderful children, four original and fantastic spouses, and the blessing of 12 beautiful grandchildren, and even one great, great-grandchild. I grew up proud of God, proud of Country, proud of our military, and proud to contribute as best I could, to America and Americans. I do not like the direction Our Country is now headed, and my goal is two-fold - (1) returning to "In God We Trust;" and (2) joining hands with like-minded people, and God, in saving souls. I believe that the direction we are headed is the result of the Satanic infiltration of what I consider to be the three pillars of any society: Creation: God's Law, and The Family, and we all, including our churches, have to accept responsibility in order to reverse the trend. Together with God, we WILL do it, but there will be a price to pay. Please read on with an open mind to see how, I believe, TOGETHER, this will happen.
Sometimes we just need a daily reminder on why we need God in our lives. Whether good times or bad times are currently happening or have happened, it is always good to hear that God is there to help. Words From Beyond the Clouds by Leonard Swanagan is the perfect collection for just such reminders. Ranging from short stories to poems, Swanagan has included twenty-one unique pieces to inspire Christians to continue following God's Word and to remind them to thank God for all He has given them in their lives. Leonard G Swanagan was born Sept. 15th, 1953 in Chicago, IL. He got a late start in life trying to publish his books and find singers for the Gospel songs that the Lord has allowed him to write! Leonard would imagine that God wanted to ensure that he was settled and mature enough to cope with the pressures of life in general, as he pursues the path that is laid out before him! Leonard prays that you enjoy this book and the ones that will follow. He also prays that this book will lift your spirits and open your eyes and your heart to the message in each piece.
My interest in the Appalachian Trail (AT) began as a travel adventurer, but as I experienced God's Nature touching my soul and renewing my spirit, the AT hiking trips became a series of faith journeys over 25 years. AT enthusiasts will enjoy detailed Trail descriptions and 30 photos of the Trail. Each one of the 40 reflection devotionals addresses a specific experience in my spiritual growth journey. The devotionals are grounded in scriptural quotes. Every devotional includes personal Trail experiences and AT stories of other trekkers. A closing prayer follows the devotional. A question then guides the reader to further personal thoughts. I hiked 2,000 AT miles! More importantly, I found answers to my quest; a life journey grounded in trusting Jesus Christ. Jesus not only came to seek and save those who were lost, but He also came to exemplify the ideal priest, prophet, and king on earth. This book lays out Jesus' administration in His three offices: the office of the priest, the office of the prophet, and the office of the king. The book also displays clearly the path to follow if any Christ's follower desires to succeed in those three offices. Ignoring their holiness and importance produces unwanted consequences in all aspect of one's life. The effect of the Holy Spirit in believers' lives is also another subject discussed in the book, which would bring every reader to the pinnacle of his theological potential. In addition, the teachings in this book tackle the false prophets' problems in the modern churches and unveil from the Bible all tools that God gives to believers not only to prevent themselves from being false prophets, but also to identify any false prophet, and the way to escape their snares. I would like to welcome you to this new, blessed, and enjoyable journey. May it be the pathway to help you reach your divine destiny on earth and in heaven! "I Know Your Deeds" examines the commendations, condemnations, and warnings to the seven Revelation churches as rendered by Jesus and applicable to fellowships of all generations. The book challenges believers to prayerfully "test the spirits," being ever mindful of false teaching based upon human intuition in the name of religion. We are encouraged to be Scripturally diligent in seeking those fellowships who have shed their "lukewarm" spirituality, relinquished their conceit of riches, "repented" of their dead spirituality, and renewed their dedication to their first love, being intentionally wary of those promoting "tolerance" and "compromise" at the expense of Biblical principles. It challenges us to "steadfastly persevere" in response to His command of Gospel testimony and in so doing, "reign victorious," thereby receiving His "crown of life." We are continuously reminded, there are no "religious" shortcuts to salvation and no alternatives to "overcoming and doing His will to the end." On April 26, 2002, my life changed. On my way home from work, I was struck head-on by a drunk driver and paralyzed from the waist down. Everything changed in that moment. I wrote about my life before and after the crash in my first book, published in 2007. So much has happened since. My goal is to help us all to see there is value in suffering. It is one of the main ingredients that will enable us to be better people. I talk about myself, as well as others, who found strength in hard times. My hope is that when you read, you enter into the experience, reflect, and find hope. There is a purpose for the pain you are going through. When God calls we listen and walk in faith and obedience. A story of how God spoke to a young lady about helping a mother who was in a homeless situation, The road and the path God orchestrated to find peace with this family and bring one of his children home in the end. Stacy Bannworth- I was the life of the party, the activities girl who planned everything. Not knowing God would use me in such a powerful way. I love to read. I was I inspired to write this book because I lived it and thought it would help others when God speaks to step out. Millie M. Ricks Kyle- Stacy and I became friends, when she informed me of her beautiful story. Initially, I was in college and was not able to work on it; however, she waited until my graduation. Wow! What a privilege, and a gift from God, to assist her in bringing it to fruition. Since both of us enjoy helping others; we realize our commonality lies in our desire to help others, brought us together; and our obedience to the Lord's will.
Sometimes in life, when things happen to us, we have no understanding of their purpose. All I know is that life is a journey. I am a fifty-six-year-old woman, and I have had my share of ups and downs-more things in this life than I would have ever anticipated. We endure many trials and tribulations, but know that we must experience the test in order to have a testimony. I am writing this book with scriptures, praying that I can encourage someone who may not have an idea about how to overcome a test in life, or whether they may even make it through. I want you to know that if God brought me through it, He'll do the same for you! Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus Christ is the same God yesterday and today and forever. God has a purpose for our lives, yet some take a little longer than others to figure out what it is. But know that God is still with you. Catherine Floyd-Foskey was born in North Carolina and raised in New York by both of her parents. She's a minister, an entrepreneur, and an educator. She has two grown children and a grandson.
This book is the first in a series of eating disorder recovery books. My HealED book series will include three memoirs. This memoir details my journey from anorexia nervosa to recovery. Diagnosed at the age of 12, I battled my eating disorder off and on for nearly 20 years. My approach in this book is a candid one. I use a combination of compassion and education as well as "tough love." In my own treatment this was the winning combination. I focus on what the eating disorder does for you, or what purpose it serves. I approach the eating disorder as a symptom of a much deeper issue. Every piece of the eating disorder must be treated, there are no shortcuts! Each time I relapsed, I was triggered by something different. The eating disorder served a different purpose each time. I candidly share my experiences in an eating disorder inpatient unit, partial hospital program, intensive outpatient program and outpatient services. I openly talk about the eating disorder mindset, or "voice," as we refer to it in the treatment community. I will expose this negative self-talk as one of many of the eating disorders lies! There are topics presented in this memoir that will require an open mind. These topics were presented to me during my recovery journey, and I had to at least consider them myself, in the context of the anorexia. I offer a "safe space" workbook and journal at the back of this memoir. I sincerely hope that my testimony can offer insight into what fuels your own eating disorder, foster hope, give you strength to choose (or continue with) recovery, and offer wisdom on your journey. Sometimes we must "borrow hope" until we are able to foster our own. Let this book be your "borrowed hope." Many people ask is God real or not? Both children and adults struggle with this question. The Bible declares God's existence from the very first few words, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) It takes faith to know and believe that God is real. This is what this story is all about. The story is about a young boy named Kenny who learns an important lesson while at church in his Sunday school class. He discovers that Spider-Man is not real, and as a result, he questions if God is real. As he struggles with real and fantasy, his Daddy takes him on a visual journey Of God's creation to show his son that God is real. Kenny's faith is what helps him to see and feel God's existence. Dorothy J. Phipps considers her faith, biological and spiritual family, and friends to be most important to her. She also holds a special place in her heart for young children, equipping them and shaping their lives for the future. She has a passion for writing, especially children's stories. She is the author of Chocolate Milk and White Milk, and Savanna Hannah's Day at the Farm. She has a Bachelor of Arts in education, and a Master of Arts in the field of Educational Psychology. She is a professional educator for the public school district where she resides. Dorothy has taught Sunday school at her church for many years and truly enjoys teaching God's Word to her young students. She had several of her students to ask that most important question, "Is God real?" which is what ignited her desire to write this story. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching sports, traveling, bowling, and playing trivia games.

The Door in The Garden Wall is an exciting mystical adventure, a portal through which one can pass into another realm. Two children, while playing in their garden, discover a door in the garden wall concealed by vines and brambles. When they uncover and open the door, they step through into another dimension. In this fantastical setting the children meet a being named Light. They begin to frame their world of reality by thoughts, and learn valuable lessons and knowledge from Light. Determined to discover the origin of the door, a mystery unravels from a sea captain's journal and old yellowed parchments that leave those who have opened the door...silent. The door has a mysterious past that has endured to present time. So begins an adventure for those who step over the threshold into the fifth dimension. With great fondness, I remember the stories my older sister told me on cold winter nights snuggled down under the covers in our warm bed. These childhood memories nourished the love of storytelling within me. Having lived and traveled in numerous countries for extended periods, this rich lifetime of adventure has set the stage for my imagination. Whether sipping tea with rug merchants in Turkey, or sitting around a desert campfire in India, stories flow from my inner spirit, and are woven from the rich experience living in foreign cultures. Each time we hear a story, our imagination is strengthened. I loved reading to our four children who were born and raised abroad. Sometimes a child needs a story to comfort them. Sharing stories from personnel experiences is a simple way of reaching out and enabling one to keep those they love closer.
Is Biblical business an oxymoron? Is it possible for Christian enterprises to be highly profitable? God's Business Mandate addresses these and gives businesses access to God's gift of business success and profitability. It presents the key to success - fulfilling God's Business Mandate. It gives companies a godly responsibility that frees people from thinking that business is the last thing believers should endeavor. Initial chapters unveil God's Mandate to kingdom business to serve Him by helping Him provide for some needs of His creation. Middle chapters present renewed business purpose, functions, and organization and disclose the significance of kingdom business in God's redemptive plans and the spiritual gift business needs to succeed. End chapters offer Biblical options for using profit to serve God, the actual owner of profits. God's Business Mandate invites the businesswoman and businessman to a renewed and exciting faith adventure in the marketplace. Hermen Atienza is a business discipleship advisor and church pastor. This books' original concept was born out of working with inner city youths in the northern Virginia area. Many of these children gathered at a local recreation center during the weekdays after school, others were visited in a local Juvenile detention center. You will hear questions that were asked in their own words, albeit nearly 40 years ago. Their actual names were not used and will remain anonymous. Some of these children have met untimely deaths, some have been imprisoned and could still be serving sentences. Some have overcome the odds of growing up in a community beset by drugs, alcohol and violence as well as absentee Fathers and or Mothers. Nonetheless they were hungry for answers to life's questions and wanted to know, who is this GOD of the Bible who loves them. Hello, there is not much to tell about me, I have been married to my beautiful wife Wilma for 37 years and we are tremendously blessed of God. We hope that God will use this book to inspire and encourage children all over the world. Love, David & Wilma
The reason for writing this book can be found in 2 Corinthians 11:28 - "...my deep concern for the churches." I started to see more and more religion and culture creeping into the churches of today. And, it has not slowed down. I have seen the authority of Christ and his word taking a "back seat" to worldly standards, humanistic philosophy, and materialistic desires. It is clearly evident, even among many well-known leaders in the "Christian" community. The problem is that the majority of the people in the churches are hanging on every word and being influenced by their false teaching. I pray that God will use this undertaking to challenge and help people to search the Scriptures and draw close to the Christ of the Bible. I was not raised in a Christian home, but rather in a religious home. There was an atmosphere of "morality," but it was subjective. Then, in 1989, Jesus Christ became real and life started to change. There was a difference between religion and Christianity. It was not about how "good" man could be, but how much God has already done for man, in and through the finished work of Jesus Christ. There was no more of man trying to reach God through good works, (religion). It was all about God reaching down to man with his free gift (Christianity). What a powerful, gracious, and merciful, love that can never be conquered, a love that stoops. It is not about me, but about the One who saved me. His love for me compels me to share all He has given with all who desire to know Him.
Contrary to their anticipation of a boring summer in their small town, three boys find themselves involved in a murder mystery after their town's annual summer celebration called "Wellsburg Days." They find a body by a creek outside their town and help the small town Marshal as much as they can, discover who the victim is and who committed the murder. A lot of focus is also on the Marshal who puzzles through the possibilities until finally solving the case. The story is set in small town Iowa in the summer of 1959. This is a book about my faith journey from a young adult to my senior years. Being a survivor of COVID, I knew the LORD still had a purpose for my life. I listened to the voice in my heart and knew I needed to write this book as an encouragement to others. Events happen in life that can cause us to see ourselves as victims or survivors. I choose using my Faith "hat" to be a survivor; an overcomer in all things. You will read about my 60 day hospital stay and 4 month home health journey and how my identified "hats" brought me through it all. My COVID survival is a miracle from GOD. Identify your "hats" so the road in front of you can be paved; and a way made for you by HIM. May you always be an overcomer. After 40 years of teaching, I started living my retired life in the country home that my husband and I designed together. My faith journey spans several decades and I have worn many "hats" during my life. I have tied them securely and held them in place with my Faith "hat" to face many a trial and tribulation both emotionally and physically. I have experienced divorce 3 times, miscarriage twice, sexual assault, as well as having 2 beautiful children, enjoying relationships with siblings, experiencing grandchildren, and finally a soulmate and loving husband. I have learned to listen to the small voice in my heart and follow the LORD's leading. I am a modern day walking talking miracle.

English Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Yvan F. Dalzon is a pastor, teacher, and missionary of Parousia Baptist Ministries Inc. in Queens, New York, and oversees the teaching and development of two additional churches, one in Port-au-Prince, and one in Baradères, Haiti. Dalzon is married and has three children with his wife. Once a teacher of Haitian and French literature, he soon responded to God's calls to the ministry. He then entered the Bible Institute of the World Mission Outreach to study theology in 1992 and became a pastor in 2003. Once immigrating to Queens, New York, in 2008, he published several articles in the Magazine l'Olivier and hosted a program via Eclair Radio, preaching and teaching the gospel to the Haitian community. Dalzon also pursued teaching theology and Christian education. "Preaching the gospel is my life," he says. In love with the soul of Haiti, Pasteur Dalzon believes that his country suffers above all from a dept of spiritual evil and calls for national evangelization.
