  • - Adoption Perspectives
by Noah With & Scot Bowlsby
    £10.99

We wanted to write a book about our experience of being adopted. Through the process of writing this book, we learned that we are all adopted in Christ. Christ makes something broken into something beautiful. We’re all on a journey trying to find our way, but more importantly, we are trying to find hope in Jesus. This book is to help parents and kids that are adopted or struggle with adoption. In this book, there are two different perspectives: open case adoptions and closed case adoptions. We also cover topics adopted children deal with including fears, forgiveness, compassion, and God’s faithfulness. We also answer questions and issues to consider when adopting. Noah: I have three siblings, my adopted Mom, and my Dad. I currently live in Duluth, Minnesota and am completing a church internship. I graduated from Urbandale High School, Urbandale, Iowa in 2019. I love sports and connecting with other young people. I have participated in football, tennis, and baseball over the years. My favorite vacation was in Colorado where we hiked in the mountains.Scot: I graduated from Urbandale High School in Urbandale, Iowa in 1978. I was in the Air Force active duty and the Iowa Army National Guard part-time. I worked in counseling, the mortgage industry, and the insurance industry. I am currently retired. I volunteer 2-3 days a week at a prevention company that deals with kids. I also volunteer at my church. Even though my boys are adults, I still talk to them weekly.

  • by Talitha K Tyler
    £11.49

In The Beauty in the Breakdown, the author Talitha Kumi Tyler, whose name is found in the Bible (Mark 5:41) meaning “little girl wake up”, describes her intimate and personal testimony of her relationship with God, herself and others. In a vulnerable, honest, and transparent way, she describes how God has moved in her life, the paths she took, and how she had to be broken down in order to break through. Using pivotal moments, relatable analogies, scriptures, insight and advice, Talitha reveals how she no longer allowed her past or people in her life to define who she was and how she fell in love with herself. Talitha realized she was being melted to be molded, and that the breakdown ironically made her whole. By detailing her sessions in therapy and adding discussion questions to invoke deeper thoughts, Talitha hopes readers will be helped along the way in their own journeys as they understand the strength gained in the breakdown is not only necessary but beautiful. Talitha lives in Southern California with her 19-year-old son, and currently works in Information Security for the largest cancer-research and healthcare hospital in California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and her Master’s in Public Administration. One of Talitha’s mottos to live by is “don’t let the facts of your life distract you from the faith of your life” and her journey proves she lives that out. We rarely go through trials for us, and Talitha believes that her testimony is meant to be shared and will help many.

  • - Slow down and catch up with God
    by Steve Roth
    £14.99

For many of us, it can prove difficult to realize what God’s “big picture” plans for our lives entail. The desire to know ahead of time, or to constantly be on the lookout for huge, pivotal life events that might hint at the course ahead, can blind us to all the tiny ways that God is moving and shaping our paths every single day.God may demonstrate His presence in our lives multiple times a day, every day, every year that we continue to draw breath—it is up to us, however, to make ourselves slow down and take stock of these small and varied moments.Catching the Moments is a one-year devotional that touches on a wide array of topics: from identifying our “life verses” and boldly proclaiming whom we know our Father to be, to following God when others don’t, to recognizing the qualities of a leader, and beyond. Presented with daily featured verses from Scripture, closing affirmations, and discussion questions designed to help you apply the material to your own situations, this devotional exists to help readers take inventory of the individual moments—big or small—that God uses to shape us all. Steve Roth and his wife, Alison, were honored to serve a congregation in New York City for thirty-two years. They now reside in Texas where they continue to minister within the kingdom of God. Steve is also the author of “Random Thoughts from a Redeemed Heart” and “Loving Acts.”Steve is a follower of Jesus Christ and thankful to serve Him in various ways. He strongly believes that God does not call the qualified, but qualifies the called.

  • - A Christian Guide for Parents of Incarcerated Children
    by Penny Kirksey
    £13.99

When Penny Kirksey looked into her adopted infant son’s eyes, she didn’t realize the challenges that lay ahead for both of them. As he grew up, things did not go as planned, and she found herself as a mother of a young man battling drug addiction who had strayed far from God. In desperation, she released her son to the Lord, asking Him to do whatever it took to bring her son back into the kingdom of God. Within a month, her son was arrested on a federal charge and found himself behind bars.Paul’s Song: A Christian Guide for Parents of Incarcerated Children by Penny Kirksey is a compelling memoir, collection of letters, and resource for parents of incarcerated children all wrapped into one. Inspired by how Paul and Silas sang songs of praise in prison and freed the captives, Penny began to write daily devotionals to her son, breaking down the passages of Scripture included and teaching him how to seek the Lord on his own. This moving book takes a look at the issue of incarceration from a holistic point of view—acknowledging the actions of the adult children which led to their current circumstance but also looking at how parents can actually be Christian enablers and be inadvertently used by the enemy to help keep their children from establishing strong relationships with the Lord on their own. Whether your child is physically incarcerated or experiencing some other bondage or stronghold, this book will guide you as a parent while you seek to minister and help draw your child back to the Lord. It’s true that there’s nothing like a parent’s love, but even that pales in comparison next to the deep, abiding love we experience from our Father.

  • - Eliminating Institutional Poverty to Thrive Spiritually
    by Joshua O Odetunde
    £13.99

Spiritually, the Church continues to exist in love as one body of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Christians develop in the faith to walk in love as God intended (John 13: 34 – 35 & Matthew 5: 13 - 16). However, with increased secular knowledge, Church leaders tend to focus on dogmatic doctrines, charismatic gifts, and legal existence as business entities to the detriment of the gospel. Fewer members of Church congregations are having the spiritual experience of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to truly walk in love. At the same time, Church congregations tend to be focusing less on their charitable institutional roles. A return to the first century house Church practice of the faith for discipleship and accountability to one another is imperative to link spiritual development of Christians with the virtuous institutional roles of the Church. The link is necessary for the Church to remain effective in the society today, avoid confusing the work of faith with the love of money, and ensure profitable congregational experiences. Every Christian need spiritual experience of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ to be fruitful. Joshua Odetunde grew up in a Christian home, seeing Christian faith as the normal way of life. His formal education and work experiences in Environmental Studies, Real Estate, and Public Policy and Administration alongside Bible and Christian education underscores his unique approach in this Christian literature. The passion for the poor is born from work-life experiences spanning across public., private, and nonprofit sectors in low-income communities as opposed to teaching and research in college institutions or working in other elite institutions here in the United States. It led to the founding of a nonprofit organization in Louisville Kentucky.

  • - YOU Must Save America & the Family: The Undeniable Crisis
    by Dr Lloyd H Stebbins
    £15.99

"America is great, not because the people are great, but because God is great. Read Dr. Stebbins'' book, Wake Up America-or Die! YOU Must Save America and the Family. You''ll be glad you did!" Josh McDowell"What is the greatest threat to America''s freedom today? In my opinion, it is the breakup of families. Throughout history, the unity of the family has been the backbone of all nations'' strength. Read Dr. Stebbins book and you''ll see what I mean. GOD must be America''s number one priority!" Coach Bobby Bowden (Retired), Florida State Seminoles"By boldly brandishing the banner of faith in the arena of cultural restoration, this important volume reveals the road map to recovery and brilliantly inspires each of us to play our part. Every page carries valuable insights which will transform every reader." Rabbi Daniel Lapin"We can think of nothing more urgent at this critical hour than for believers to possess a Biblical worldview. Dr. Lloyd Stebbins hits the nail on the head with this powerful, educational, and insightful book. We encourage people to not just read what he''s written, but to devour it!" David and Jason Benham"Dr. Lloyd Stebbins, with the unapologetic fury of a saint, dares to tell the truth about the overwhelming forces in our society that are moving us further and further away from God''s truth. Wake Up America or Die is a sobering wake-up call for all who cherish traditional values. This book also offers real hope because when our problems come sharply into focus, so do the solutions." Dr. Jeff Winter, Pastor"Dr. Stebbins has written perhaps the most lucid book "destroying the wisdom of the wise and frustrating the intelligence of the intelligent" by presenting a blueprint for the renewal of human society. The secularists will be flabbergasted, but the faithful will recognize this continuation of the tradition of Kuyper, Chesterton, Schaeffer, and Colson." Dr. Eric Dent, University Professor"Like the Prophet Jeremiah, warning of impending doom, and lamenting over the consequences, Dr. Lloyd H. Stebbins hits the proverbial nail on the head in his book, ''Wake Up America-or Die! YOU Must Save America and the Family.'' Blessed with an abundance of charts, graphs, and statistics, coupled with wisdom and humor, Dr. Stebbins immerses the reader in a realistic discussion of where we are, where we need to go, and the hope we have in our Great Creator and Omnipotent God. I especially appreciate how he looks to the Torah, in the Old Testament, for moral guidance and wisdom. I highly recommend this book to those seeking truth and wanting answers to life''s predicaments." Yossi Laster, Messianic Rabbi

  • - The Impact on Bible Translation
    by Dan Kramer
    £15.99

What defines success? What about success in missions? What does that definition look like in God's eyes? The answers are within scripture, but seeing how that is demonstrated in today's missional landscape of larger goals is a challenge as we continue to define success in Western business model existence. Key Words explores the changes taking place in Bible translation today and how a team of unexpected missionaries were called to the task of mobilizing the world for a new methodology called MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation). While this team reached over fifteen-hundred languages in under five years, spanning some of the most difficult populations in the most difficult locations, it is not the numeric accomplishments that defined success. This journey in missions expresses the nature of success in terms of the key words that God brings for success and how they were used. For those who serve anyone in any capacity, it is these same words put into practice that can make success happen in transformational ways. Dan Kramer worked as faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, as well as in K-12 public education. In the fall of 2009, he accepted a call to serve in Wycliffe Associates and served for eleven years as the Director of Education Services. In 2014, the creation of MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation) was piloted in Nepal changing the landscape of the mission of Bible translation. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Our Daily Bread and as the Associate Vice President at Barclay College for Global Programs and Partnerships.

  • - A Journey into the KIngdom
by Sr Echard & Melvin C
    £10.99

Faith Phonics makes the words of Jesus Christ accessible to everyone through decoding text. Often time, young readers learn to read by engaging with fictional stories often presented in series books. They learn by reading highly predictable text and storytelling. Regardless of one's reading ability or level of comprehension, the parables offer rich stories that are relevant in every developmental stages of life. With the tools presented in Faith Phonics, every believer, both young and old, can share the same stories Jesus shared over 2,000 years ago. Jesus's teachings are a collection of combined sounds that form meaning (words). When words are spoken together, they convey meaning and context. When they are spoken out loud, they become a catalyst for change. Like babies, we need to speak the language of our Holy Father and use our voice to steer others to Christ. The parables provide a good foundation for ensuring we are passing on the same powerful illustrations that Jesus shared with His followers. Each parable seeks to share a story to help you on your journey in life while revealing a promise of a much greater afterlife. It is our job to seek the deeper meaning. Jesus uses literary devices (metaphors and similes) which allow us to compare our life with the kingdom of God. We have included graphic organizers to highlight the comparisons Jesus makes between our everyday world and the Kingdom of God. It is amazing to consider that Jesus knew our needs over 2,000 years ago and how relevant His teachings are today. It is only those with a repentant heart that can be led to redemption and ultimately salvation. Life is a journey into the Kingdom. Melvin C. Echard Sr. is a retired public education administrator and husband of 34 years. He is a man of Faith and constantly seeks to understand God's design for the family through prayer and an examination of scripture. Melvin married Mona, his high school sweetheart. They are blessed with 2 children and 6 grandchildren.

  • - How to Persevere in Perilous Times
    by Arnold W Weckeman
    £14.99

From its inception, Christianity has been "a light that shinneth in a dark place." A beacon of hope in a lost and dying world. Although continually besieged by the forces of darkness, "the light of the glorious gospel" is never extinguished. However, without continuous and broadening spiritual understanding, the light can be dimmed and thwarted in the hearts and minds of the messengers. Especially true in these last days. Have you ever pondered the actual meaning and practicality of the following Scripture: "...put off the old man... and "put on the new man" (Eph. 4:22 & 24)? Exactly how is that accomplished? What is the significance of the believer being "circumcised with the circumcision made without hands" (Col. 2:11)? When and how did that occur? Or the reality of the apostle Paul's declaration: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live..." (Gal. 2:20)? The answers to these enigmatic questions (unveiled in this book) provide a panorama of spiritual understanding essential to persevere in the perilous times in which we live. Pastor Arnold Wayne Weckeman received his formal education at First Bible Church's Bible Institute, Staten Island, N.Y. Before his ordination, he served for ten years as a deacon, head deacon. Although involved in many of the church's evangelism ministries, his passion was discipleship. His life verse is 2 Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." As the head deacon, he oversaw FBCs Discipleship Ministry teaching weekly classes on the biblical principles of "Spiritual Multiplication." In 2000 Pastor Weckeman and his wife Sandra moved to Pike Co. Pa. and began holding Bible studies in their home and Sunday services in Pike County, PA. As the Lord blessed and the ministry grew, a decision was made to establish First Bible Church in Lord's Valley. Pastor Wayne and his wife, Sandra, presently reside in Buckeye, Arizona.

This book, LIVING IN THE LIGHT, is the sequel to my first fiction book, FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT. If you haven't read the first one, I suggest you read it first. This is a story about a lady in an unreached people group in the world who goes out of her hut at night, stares up at the stars, and is certain that 'Someone had to put them there'. She finally speaks outloud to Whoever it is and opens her heart to know this 'SOMEONE'. This second book is about what happens to her, her family and her tribe after their encounter with the 'SOMEONE', ALMIGHTY GOD. This is an eye-opening experience concerning the people of the world who live in isolation from the rest of the world - and what happens when 'GOD' comes in. In this sequel, the experience of this woman and her husband accepting Jesus as their Savior, and submitting their lives to ALMIGHTY GOD, is illuminating to what GOD can and desires to do in all our lives. I suggest that you have an open heart as you read about these people and comprehend what the Lord shows them. Perhaps He can use you to actually help others by telling them about this book - maybe even sharing your book with them. That may be what God is calling you to do. May you 'LIVE IN THE LIGHT' through the rest of your life!! GLORIA HARTMAN was in the pastoral ministry with her husband for many years and has been involved in teaching and preaching the Word of God. She had her own radio teaching program on a Christian station called, "Girl Talk," and ended up speaking throughout that area. Since her husband's homegoing, she has been writing the books which had been on her heart for a long time. They are "Journey in Grace," "Choosing for a Change," Coming Out of the Cocoon," and "From Darkness to Light," (her first fiction). "Living in the Light" is a sequel to that one.

God Made Me Do It! Is about the training it took to become a warrior and an overcomer of life. As human we are trained to live our lives in fear. Fear only has the value we place on it. You are as close to God as you choose to be. I choose to align myself with God's will. God's will simply put is that none shall perish. This is another example of what I call change: "Change requires us to come up to a higher level of existence. People are not afraid of change. They are afraid of the loss of comfort. When the loss of comfort becomes greater than just making that change...Change happens. Acceptance is the key to change. Then there is peace." Author - Saber J I am human and bleed red just like anyone else. I make my mistakes and have my successes. I have faults just like any other human being on this planet. I am not by any means perfect. But no matter how I am to people... when allowing God to guide me... I am supernatural!
