"The first step to becoming wise is to look for wisdom, so use everything you have to get understanding." - Proverbs 4:7 (ERV)In today's society, it is apparent that wisdom is not universal. Many people find themselves living lives full of regret and consequences due to lack of wisdom in their decision-making. Jealousy, anger, foolishness, and keeping bad company run rampant in wisdom's absence and leave a mark on people's lives. Author Chris Spivey experienced the bad fruit of not using wisdom in his life firsthand, but when he began to study God's Word and apply its principles, he underwent a transformation that changed his life for the better.Wisdom for Your Everyday Life: 160 Devotions to Help You Live a Life That's Impactful and Fulfilling by Chris Spivey is an uplifting devotional that focuses on how to live lives of peace, favor, success, and understanding according to biblical principles. Inspired by the book of Proverbs, the book covers many different topics and includes personal stories from Chris's life along with changes he's made to have a more impactful and fulfilling journey. The Bible advises us that if we lack wisdom, we must seek it, and if we do so, we are sure to find it. If you are tired of not living your best life and ready to learn from your past mistakes so you don't keep repeating them, this book is for you. Come along and see how practical the Bible can be and how much it can change your life if you put it into practice.
This is a story of several people wrestling with how to know God's will for their life. It is told by a father to his son to try to get him to understand that life is more complicated than he thinks. He is introduced to three main characters: a young, impressionable man, an angry, grief-stricken young woman, and a young man that thinks he is well-grounded in the Word of God. The three think that God isn't moving fast enough on the issue of abortion, and they decide to 'help' Him. They take matters into their own hands. What follows is a wild ride full of twists and turns that they didn't see coming. While abortion issues are central to the story, the bigger picture is whether God has things under control, or if we Christians should 'force God's will' on others. In the end you find out that...well, I don't want to spoil it for you. Vincent Bonacci was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He was the oldest of three boys. In life's storms, it is hard to see the light ahead, knowing you'll be freed of the storm soon. However, when you are a child of God, there is calm in the storm and anything is possible with Jesus. Author Kimberly Wynter describes this peace in the fear through her new devotional, The P.I.T.S. Perspective in the Storm, with forty devotional messages for a godly perspective in trials. Several topics are explored in the devotional, from forgiving like Christ to God's timing to faith in the Christian walk: all convey the love of the Father to readers and that we have protection against the enemy through Jesus' authority. Each devotional message offers Jesus' answers to life through the Scriptures, showing how the Savior can still make any size storm in our lives into blessings. So the storm may rage around us, but we have peace in the storm through Jesus.

Hindsight Wisdom is a two-fold message about building a relationship with God and how to handle His money. Before reading, pray and ask the Lord for understanding!

ABOUT THIS BOOK:This book contains my repertoire of forty seven Gospel and Inspirational songs that were written over a period of several years - 1997 through 2018 to be exact. All were created spontaneously - there’s never any planning. I go about my daily life, and occasionally I would see, hear, read or perceive something that strikes me as a good concept for a song. My mind goes into overdrive and a song is born. I refrain from presuming anything on the Holy Ghost, but when I’m creating, words and ideas come to mind that seem foreign to my regular thought pattern. A cursory review of my work will reveal that no effort is spared in my song creating. I use the word creating rather than writing because lyrics and melodies are generated simultaneously. My hope is that many would be edified and encouraged by these songs, and that they be used as an evangelistic tool! Hilford Hurst was born in St. Vincent on March 1st. 1958 to Hilton Hurst and Theresa Lewis. He wrote his first song at age twelve. He migrated to Trinidad in 1977, and thence to the United States in 1983. Hilford writes and sings Calypso, Soca, Raggae, and Gospel. He first recorded in 1986, published by Charlie’s Record label. He performs at churches and cultural events. His music is available online at most digital music stores. His latest project is this book, published in collaboration with Xulon Press, consisting of his repertoire of Gospel and Inspirational songs.

The Placeholder is the story of a strong-willed young woman whose ideas were ahead of her time. She was born in Alabama in the 1800’s when women were treated like possessions. They were sometimes victims of abuse without recourse. They had no say, could not vote, own property, nor work outside their homes without the permission from a man. They were subjected to the rule of fathers, husbands, brothers, and male employers, if they were fortunate enough to gain employment. The main character, Evinaida Corbitt, fought to change these conditions. She joined a group called the Suffragettes. Their aim was to gain suffrage for women. In addition to being a part of the female equality struggle, she was also born a mulatto which brought on another type of discrimination. ABOUT THE AUTHORAnne James writes to encourage, uplift, and inspire a continuing belief in the living God.

The church has gone through a tremendous change since the days the Bible was written. For some reason few parishioners are warned to fear God, and of equal importance, too keep His commandments. John said: “He that says I know Him, and doesn’t keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 Jn. 2:4). Yet we hear preachers claiming it doesn’t matter how we live; Jesus will accept us. Paul said: “…if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat” (1 Cor. 5:11). After Jesus recues His church, those that are left here will wish they had invested every moment of their life seeking Him for the truth. Just because someone says they believe in Jesus doesn’t make it so, your life and soul, depends on what you know about Him: especially how you should live for Him. “Let us therefore fear, lest, the promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it” (Heb. 4:1). David Terry is an evangelist that has been ordained since 1985. His credentials can only be attributed to the Holy Spirit, for only God has the ability to place a person in a Christian ministerial position. He doesn’t adhere to any denomination, for there is only one body, and one Head of that body. After years of studying God’s Word, and discovering how near we are to the end, he feels it is only right to reveal the truth of Scripture. And to let people know that one of the greatest gifts God offers to all of us is Himself, and the other is the Bible.

This book was written to bring awareness to women who have wondered why so many of their relationships have failed. It is for the woman who has exhibited feelings of grief, depression, or anxiety in or about relationships. The book follows several women who live worldly lives, but the masses can relate because it addresses the lifestyles of today. Biblical scriptures accompany each woman's story to remind women that the bible tells us to seek God first, and that we are in our current situations because we have followed our own plan and not God's plan for our lives. When the storms of life come, they hit hard. In those times we will question everything we ever thought we believed. We will cry out: Where are you God? Do you really care about me? Why is what I have been taught no comfort? Are my beliefs just empty platitudes? And, in the darkness of that hour, and we find no answers to our cries, our soul begins to bleed for the lack of substance. We feel as though we have been spiritually betrayed. It is then that we are frightened and all alone. But there is substance! There are answers! There is power! We've been told that we are weak. The problem is that we have been trusting "what we have been told," not what we might discover. We have looked for answers through the wrong lens. This book is an effort to present the "Christ Story" in a way that has never been told. It is written to show that God has truly given us the power to overcome. We can stop the bleeding! Jim Patterson is a passionate believer in the "Christ Story." Currently owning and operating multiple businesses, his life's journey includes being a minister, actor, rodeo rider, gemologist, skydiver, fashion model, martial artist and pilot. The Enemy in the Mirror: A Journey Worth Fighting For is a second in a series dealing with our journey in life and the struggles that we endure both naturally and spiritually. We are so concentrated on ourselves that we forget that God is there is for us if only trust him and let him shoulder the burden. The book challenges us all to look at ourselves in the mirror which gives a reflection ourselves in our spiritual battle with self. The reflection in the mirror displays an ugliness of humanity that is not Christ-centric, or God-oriented, but instead reflects our flesh, desires, character flaws, shortcomings, and evil because we refuse to surrender self to our Creator. The only way to change the enemy in the mirror is to let God and not ourselves direct our lives by having a humbling mindset that surrenders to him in all aspects of our lives. You are holding a manual of biblical violence for deliverance and warfare in your hand. If we accept what the word of God says, we will agree that the bible is a book of warfare. The Lord wants us to fight, wrestle and win. It does not please God if we are not engaged, even in our own battle to victory. The word of God in Psalm Your 110:1-2, The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." The kingdom of God is advancing, and making God's enemies His footstool, how? Through the body of Christ, the Holy Spirit is empowering, delivering and healing broken saints.Exodus 15:3 tells us "...the Lord is a man of war. The Lord is His name." Our God delivered His people out of the grip of cruel taskmasters, and brought down their gods. He is the covenant keeping God. Is Lord still delivering His people out from under the grip of cruel taskmasters? If so how? I've had the same problems, curses, struggles for all my life. Why doesn't God care about me? Yes, He does care, and He loves you so much. In this book you will come to understand many of the obstacles that robbed you of His blessings in your life. The Father wants you to rule in the midst of your enemies. Stanley Beverly is a prophetic voice and deliverance minister to the body of Christ. He is a gifted man with a passion for revealing the word of God and presence of Holy Spirit in restoring a people to the Lord. Having traveled to several countries with the Word of the Lord, and the ministry of deliverance, this young man is truly called to the nations for the end time army. Stanley Beverly resides in central New Jersey with his wonderful wife, Nadier. They have 4 adult kids, and 5 grandchildren.
We are definitely living in a time of uncertainty. There are many curve balls being thrown at us. People have become so overwhelmed and stressed out, looking to the leaders of this nation for the answer. There are some things that no human being can do anything about, only God can.God said through the Prophet Jeremiah in Chapter 17: 5, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm and whose hearts depart from the Lord. We as a nation have surely departed from God in many ways. Dealing with times of uncertainty as an individual or as a nation, we need to turn to God for the answer. He is the only one who can see us through it. God is our refuge and our strength, a present help in the time of need. (Psalm 46: 1). Evangelist Ann Ammons has been in the ministry for over thirty seven years. Evangelist Ammons has received several certificates from MWE (Ministry With Excellent) School of Ministry in Lithonia, Georgia, and continues to pursue her Biblical Studies. Because of her brokenness and pain, God has endowed her with gifts, which she uses to encourage and empower others to become be all they can be in the Lord, and to walk by faith. She has preached and taught the Word of God without compromise through out the State of Georgia. She is the author of Under Construction, a book that has encouraged many of her readers to keep running the race that is set before them inspite of all the disappointments and setbacks.
