Grandmother. Her essence is that of wisdom, compassion and unconditional love. She is a nurturer from the heart. God made her that way. She looks for nothing in return except knowing in her heart she has blessed someone with her kindness, insight and patience. Her desire is to epitomize what it looks like to release the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Pleasing God is her aspiration. This is the story of certain women, biblical and personal, who acknowledged the responsibility and pleasure of their position. It's not a position that usually brings much notice, but to do it well delivers far-reaching results. For years she has been the lifeblood of many families. And it doesn't matter if you are a blood relative or not, she claims you as her own. To all of this add the anointing, the super on our natural, and you have a force that can affect future generations. Nancy Davis is known for her love, compassion and encouragement of everyone she meets. She has served in various ministerial capacities for over 25 years. She has three children, five grandchildren (three who are adults and two who are pre-teens) and one great-grandchild. Of all that could be listed of her life's achievements, her greatest appreciation is for every opportunity God has given her to speak life and wisdom into the lives of many. However, she considers being a grandmother and a great-grandmother the utmost of God's blessings.

"The Red Door" is one woman's inspiring story of her struggles with childhood abuse, parental abandonment, abortion, addiction, and a lifetime of justified bitterness.Despite years of conflict, Stephanie was with her mother when the eccentric and abusive woman claimed to travel back and forth between her hospice bed and heaven, "rewriting her scripts."Was that even possible?Stephanie's own unexpected death suddenly propels her under the tutelage of an odd man who is a combination of guide, counselor, and eventual friend. Steve's only assignment? Accompany each person on a personal journey to heal their unresolved trauma."Think about it," Steve said. "You have lived your entire life with people who have hurt you. They are here. And there are people you have hurt--I think that's the hardest to resolve. They are here. And there are people you have blessed. They are here also. Do you really think heaven would be a swell place to hang out if you didn't first have an opportunity to rewrite your scripts?"Steve continued. "Let's imagine you are hypothetically ambling down the street and bump into, let's say... your father. Given the disappointment and bitterness you carry in your heart, would that be enjoyable? Would it be... well, heaven?I cringed. "No. It would hurt.""Of course it would. Stephanie, you need a chance to do some healing here before you continue into the wonder and glory of heaven. Oh, I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Your mother was right about the sound of angels singing praises to God. And the flowers! It is unimaginable!"Had her mother reported the truth? Stephanie wouldn't know for certain until they met again on the other side of the "Red Door - Where Hurt and Holiness Collide."
History is a powerful tool we can use to study the past, as well as its sometimes complex relationship with the present. To understand our nation's history is to also know its relevancy to today's current events. Over the centuries, the United States of America has been marked by divisions of race, class, religion, culture, and politics, and by taking a look into our past, we can discover the root causes behind the polarization that has defined our modern-day culture. In God Bless Our Divided America: Unity, Politics, and History from a Biblical Perspective, author David Marshall explores the combination of history, the principle of unity, and politics from a scriptural viewpoint. Marshall's profoundly timely teaching will open your eyes to the ways in which history is repeating itself, as well as how the divisive sins and consequences which were commonplace in the past are also occurring today. Throughout the book, you'll gain insight into powerful legacies that counter these consequences, as well as the character and conscience that these legacies use to reshape our nation with unity. Meet historical men and women who chose to step forward and follow the weight of their conscience, taking a stand against social injustice. You'll learn that despite the judgement from society, God can use anyone as His servant--including you. With the simple response of "Thy will be done," you can do your part to help transform this great nation. For patriotic believers who have a passion for restoring unity in the body of Christ, God Bless Our Divided America will bolster you with the hope for a blessed future for this country. David Marshall works as a strong advocate for social justice and racial and religious reconciliation. He resides in Bowie, Maryland.

In our world today, man has been running tirelessly in pursuit of material happiness, monetary gain, good health and well-being. However, pursuit of happiness without the Word of God does not lead humans anywhere. God has revealed Himself completely as well as His eternal plan through His WORD. His Word has been described as pure, restraining, perfect, trustworthy, true, enduring, effectual, sanctifying, inspiring, living, and active. It has been compared to lamp, fire, hammer, and seed. The Word of God heals, makes free, illuminates, bears witness, produces faith and rejoices the heart. We are called to search it thoroughly, speak it boldly and handle correctly. Everyday Devotion comes with devotions and lessons that would help the reader in understanding the essence of the Word of God. The daily scriptures, short exhortations, and prayer outlines will help build the faith of any individual who lays hold of a copy of this book.

Hebrews 11:6We have witnessed firsthand the spiritual strength and dedication of the author, our father Pastor Charles A. Hall. Our father has always been our earthly role model, so it was not a surprise that he would trust God in whatever situation that he might face in his life's journey. We have seen up close how our father has grown spiritually as he has been challenged physically without wavering at any time. If you want to meet an ordinary god-fearing man who believes and trust in the supernatural power of a loving God, then this book is a must read! By the Children of the author Charles A. Together, the couple has raised and educated four children and is blessed with four grandchildren.Pastor Hall's parents, Charles & Luella Hall, were a major influence in his relationship with the Lord, they introduced him to the Lord at a very early age. As a Pastor myself, I've always coveted the prayers of my church. Every Pastor of a church, every leader of a ministry, needs the prayers of the people that they minister to. The attacks on leadership are great and frequent and often brutal. Now, the nature of a leader is that they want to be an example of faith and strength to the people that follow them. Consequently, they don't always make known to their followers the needs they have. They don't want to sound like they are complaining or weak or stir fear in the hearts of the congregation. But rest assured, they do have needs and they do need prayer. This book is a great resource for congregation members and Pastors alike. In this book, I share five prayers requests the Apostle Paul asked of his followers and one from the writer of the book of Hebrews. Those prayer requests are the word of the Lord and a tutorial on how and what to pray for your leaders. As you read the book, you will... Get a greater understanding of each prayer Learn how to pray the word of God You will become the thing you pray for You will draw closer to your Pastor You will bring unity to your church or ministry Bob Piccola has been in ministry for over 35 years. David W. Robbins is a specially gifted Bible teacher. Addressing many congregations his teachings of Biblical truth have crossed denominational lines bringing many the joy and comfort that only the Holy Scriptures can afford. David is an interdenominational teacher and preacher of Faith, Grace and Freedom, according to the Scriptures. His passion is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by helping those who are "going on with God" to deepen not only their knowledge of God but also their experience with Him as well. With unreserved boldness David brings the illuminating mysteries of the Sacred Scriptures to light so that all who dare to believe can be the beneficiaries of the Love and Power of Jesus Christ. For more than three decades he has engaged in intense Bible study to bring to the Body of Christ the Life they were meant to live by helping them with the "how" of Christian living. As David has often been heard saying; "All things are possible, to them that believe".This book is a modest attempt to help those who are "going on with God". Nothing here is new except in the sense that it is a product of discovery from my own personal journey aided by the Holy Spirit into the Spiritual realities of a Life in Christ Jesus. Believers before me have gone much farther into the Holy Mysteries of the Sacred Scriptures than I have done, but my fire is none the less real and there may be those who can ignite their lives by its flame.www.obmcanada.orgOnly Believe Ministries

This devotional book is about the pets and animals that God has brought into my life. Each one of these animals taught me valuable lessons. Cowbell and Marshmellow are cats owned by my daughter, Stephanie. Each of these cats has her own personality and has brought much laughter into our lives. Ispep was a dog I owned while a missionary to the Apache Indians. He was full of energy and was really an intelligent dog. Lucky the duck was the first pet I ever owned. The cows were not exactly pets as they were owned by the mission in Arizona, and were there to help the Apache children learn about responsibility. As you read these stories, please allow God to do a work in your life. Scott Long grew up in a small Pennsylvania town called Peru. He trusted Christ as his Savior at 12 years old. As a senior in high school, he committed his life to serve God, and went on to graduate from Pensacola Christian College. Who do you want to be remembered as? Who do you want to be remembered by, and why? The courage to look within is one of the hardest things to do. It is so much easier to blame others, our situation, where we were born, how we were born. It is easier to blame God and other people. We allow circumstances, people and experiences to cripple and paralyze us, stunting our growth, cutting off our ability to soar and live a genuinely prosperous life in spirit, mind, heart, soul and body. It is so much easier to listen to the noise of the market, to pursue so-called success, develop destructive vices and coping mechanisms. When will we begin to listen to the ache and cry of our own souls? It is time to stop being our own roadblock. It is time to see things as they are and find the courage to look within and make that change. Your journey with this book asks you to do one thing, and that is, to take the path of truth and honesty with yourself, about yourself. There is never ending thirst and hunger within you, because your soul knows that within you lies unlimited divine gifts and power, if you allow God to breathe on them and activate them. This is about the cry of your soul. Listen and pay attention to that cry. Sonia strongly believes that every person is uniquely created by God, with a divine purpose, plan, blueprint and agenda. She believes that God's divine purpose resides within us, and that we can discover and activate that purpose if we choose to turn to God and ask Him for His assistance, instruction and direction.

Through the past years I have seen a dramatic shift, a paradigm shift. God was no longer the center of people’s lives. He had been replaced by a false narrative. Mankind had bought the lie that self-empowerment would bring about the perfect world they desired. The clear clean water of God’s Word had become befouled. This book brings back to the table God’s desire for us all; peace, joy, hope, and a future. Laura Gregory was born into a large family. The youngest of 7 children. She was raised in a Midwestern city by hardworking, God fearing parents. Although home life was not perfect there was a genuine love for each other as well as for God. There was a belief they all held that a caring God heard their prayers.
