The death of her mother was still fresh in her life when author Jacqueline Palmer endured one of the hardest storms of life she ever experienced: being involved in a car accident that resulted in the deaths of five family members, including two of her children. For her latest autobiography, My Storms Volume Two: Destined for Greatness, Jacqueline journeys back into her days spent at the hospital recovering from injuries from the car accident that killed her children. As she sought to make sense of this heartbreaking tragedy in her life, Jacqueline chose to praise God and be in service to Jesus while recovering, resulting in having the peace of God throughout her recovery. Jacqueline also recounts the support of family and friends she received, along with stories about her “three” fathers and eccentric grandmother. She realized that even during the largest storm of her life, God was always there.

I started a business in my retirement with the intention of having something to do and to generate disposable income to help others. My feelings were that because the Bible continuously tells us to help the less fortunate that the business had to succeed. Not only did the business not succeed the failure was monumental costing me my retirement nest egg. That resulted in a two and a half year knock down drag out fight with God. I could not understand how God could let this happen when I was trying to help the less fortunate and not only did he let me down he let down everyone that would have been helped if the business succeeded. The final battle ended with God, how can you say that you are a loving God. I would never treat someone that I love the way you have treated me. That statement started a thought pattern about what exactly is God’s love language and how is it expressed. This book is the culmination of that thought pattern. I take you everyplace I was when I was in the tunnel. All the places that severe disappointment with God will take us, how we get there and how we get out. Finally, in the last chapter we take a deep dive into what exactly is God’s love language and how that translates into our lives. I can pretty much guarantee you that there are things in that chapter that you never thought of in the same sentence with God’s love. I promise you that those things will give you a much better understanding of God and his love language.

This book was divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. God used the physical conception of our son, to revelate spiritual conception/birthing. He also used his physical death (stillborn) to revelate spiritual/natural death. Through His manifested “Resurrecting Power,” He brought him back to life. In this book, we break down all three trimesters. We tell you what to expect, and we teach you how to handle complications. We also tell you, how to prepare to give birth, and prep your delivery room, for your “big day.” Lastly, we teach you, how to go back, and dig up every Promise, Dream, Business, Ministry etc. God is ready to resurrect everything that He gave you. Resurrecting, means ( the state of one rising from the dead, no signs of life, and no movement) He’s ready to do the “impossible” for you. Often times, for God to do anything great in our lives, some things have to go through a death, burial, and a resurrection. This book is a physical manifestation, of His “Resurrecting Power.” Below, I list a few keys, that qualifies you, to birth greatness (faith, integrity, obedience, self-discipline, tenacity, visualize the victory). By the time that you finish reading this book, we hope that you walk away, enlightened, inspired, completely transformed, and ready to give birth. God is ready to resurrect, everything that He promised you. “Lazarus Come Forth” Sharronda Johnson Brown is the Author of Mommy and Me Book & Mommy and Me Prayer Journal. Many investors wish they could get in on just one millionaire insider secret and make their fortune. Lucien Stephenson reveals one such well-kept secret in this book. Even though this “secret” has been around for nearly 2 centuries, less than 1% of American investors are aware of it or use it to build their wealth and manage their money. Think about it: We finance everything we buy, from cars to homes and college educations. And who is it that gets rich when you borrow? The banker, of course! By using this investment instrument - available to us all at all income levels - you can manage all aspects of your borrowing, saving and spending. With this close control over your money, it is you that gets rich. Not your banker. Stephenson further explains how your money earns and grows in the many ways typically reserved for banks and financial institutions. In short, set up this “secret of the 1%” for yourself, and become your own banker!
Saint Anthony of Padua made his mark as a popular, powerful preacher in Western Europe in the early decades of the thirteenth century, and he has developed a worldwide reputation as the finder of lost things. Regardless of creed, people invoke him on a range of issues, but especially Catholics do, who cultivate the belief that saints can intercede on our behalf. The author, though feeling unworthy, shares some recent experiences of awakening spirituality which ignited the desire to learn about this saint and his marvelous gifts in God's service. As a retired lecturer, she has written a book with something for everyone: academic research on the medieval saint and the Franciscan Order he joined; the challenge of deepening faith through an attitude of openness in prayer as revealed in engaging stories collected from the CGS Catholic community in Pittsburgh; the stories are interactive in that readers can find some lost items in the "Lost and Found" Pictorial Index; and the pride of the parishes is exhibited in Christmas nativity scenes, including the pictures of some of our youngest members. It is hoped that this book will foster faith, hope and love in these uncertain times. Doretta Whalen is a retired adjunct professor: at University of Pittsburgh teaching Jazz Voice and inheriting the "popular" History of Jazz, named Editor's Pick Best Class by The Pitt News in 2013; at Penn State Greater Allegheny founding the vocal ensemble PSGA (Penn State Greater A Cappella) Melody Lions. As host of APR show on WYEP 91.3 FM Pittsburgh, "Cruise Control for a Sunday," she interviewed guests and created "Classic Jazz Revue" voice-over. Her dissertation examined Holiday's Catholic school experience, suggesting exposure to chant helped shape her singing style. Doretta serves the church as cantor and volunteer.
As I watched a friend being prayed over, that he would minister to the '99', I heard a voice saying, "...but I called YOU to the 'ONE' !" I knew it was God but wasn't overjoyed. I had been dismissed as a pastor three months prior. When Linda turned to me and asked, "Did you hear anything?", I sadly said, "yes, He's called us to the one." She replied, "Wow! That's exactly what I heard!" She was thrilled that we both heard the same thing, that God was confirming our course! It wasn't until two years later I discovered from a friend, The ministry of the 'One' IS the ministry of JESUS!! This book is a result of that Revelation, discovering how to minister as Jesus does, up close and personal, one heart at a time! I hope you enjoy these 31 revelations learned on this adventure with Him Brian Jacobson - Co-Founder of His Heartministers LLC, and full-time ordained minister with Restoring the Foundations International. He has 30+ years of counseling and healing ministry experience and been married over 20 years. For the past 14 years, He and Linda have been teaching, training, and ministering with RTF, sharing and imparting God's revelation of healing and deliverance. They have been privileged to minister to individuals and families from over 45 countries, as well as gaining a reputation for seeing broken marriages restored.
Gravely injured on the jungle floor after plummeting off a precipice with her mule, Karen Rhea's situation was dire. After leaving the comfort of her suburban D.C. home to serve alongside her husband to provide critical dental care to the indigenous people of southern Mexico, Karen became the one in need. Their medical mission team lacked any ability to get her back to civilization to receive the care she so desperately required. A Chinentec guide began the arduous journey to his village, climbing mountain peaks and traversing white water rapids to summon help. Even if Karen could be transported to the village, what then? This was a Sunday. Bush planes simply didn't fly on Sundays. There were no roads and no communications. And time was running out. Karen Rhea is a sought-after keynote speaker. Her riveting storytelling is no less enthralling in her writings. She is the author of Sick Kids And Those Who Love Them and magazine articles. Sex, molestation, rape or abuse... either physically, emotionally, verbally and even financially have plagued our society and unfortunately many have seen and experienced it within the Body of Christ. But are we "rightly dividing the Word of Truth"? Have we placed the blame on the entire Body or have we sought out to stop the predator(s) - even if it is the Pastor or Leader? Have the actions of individuals caused a cloud of despair and mistrust over the entire Christian community? God forbid! Well, the time has come for the truth to be revealed in effort for those hurt by the "church" to be healed. Church rape is real, but restoration, forgiveness, and truth are available for all. While on guard duty, Private Charles Schultz, stood in the dark wondering if what Alda Mae Jeffers had written in her letter was all lies. Suddenly, footsteps in the woods alerted him to snap into the moment. Aiming his gun towards the sound, he prayed that it was friend and not foe.Set in war torn areas of France and Germany in 1917, The War, book three of a Christian Historical Fiction Series, continues the story of Charles Schultz. It brings to life the story of a war and a period of time that has been forgotten, but needs retelling to remind us that this was, "The Great War".Charlie, along with thousands of other soldiers, were in army camps in France, training to enter the war. The camps were similar to the US army posts, even issuing passes to soldiers, which often ended in trouble. Charlie and his buddies found themselves ducking and running to keep immoral women and shady men from taking advantage of them, even in Paris. To avoid the horrors of trench life, Charlie volunteers for dangerous assignments in No Man's Land. He did things he never thought he was capable of doing, to save soldier's lives, continually praying for God's protection. In a massive push to end the war, Charlie is attacked by mustard gas and almost dies.Upon returning to West Virginia Charlie's faith is tested by the changes which happened at home and in France that made him a different man. After reuniting with a girl he met in Paris, he is railroaded into marriage. When she mysteriously turns up dead, Charlie decides to let sleeping dogs lie, however, years later the past threatens to destroy his life. "As the reality of my accident settled in, I faced a choice. I could become bitter and depressed, wondering, 'Why me?' Or I could live each day to the best of my ability, trusting in Jesus Christ to be my source of peace and strength."-- Dan Priatko Anything seemed possible for Pittsburgh-area native Dan Priatko as his 23rd birthday approached. A graduate of the United States Military Academy in West Point, Dan had recently completed Army Ranger School. Those who knew Dan were convinced he was destined for great things -- and might one day become a general. Just before Dan's first army deployment, tragedy struck. Dan was in a catastrophic car accident, one that probably should have killed him. Even after he pulled through doctors didn't expect him to have much quality of life. Dan spent more than a year in a coma due to a traumatic brain injury, but his family never gave up hope. Their religious beliefs sustained them through the most trying of times and Dan made a miraculous recovery. He approached relearning such basics as walking and talking with the Army Ranger motto that has always resonated with him: All the way and then some. Dan made it easy for people to root for him with his can-do spirit, relentless positivity, and unwavering faith. He never dwelled on what might have been or what he had lost. Dan became an inspiration to many, including Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, a fellow West Pointer, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dick LeBeau. His remarkable journey is one of faith, family, and the power of perseverance. Most of all it is about someone who was robbed of so much but refused to let a tragedy take his essence.
Most of these poems came to me as a product of many hours on my knees in prayer seeking the Lord Jesus for help and guidance and salvation. This poetry was inspired by constant prayer seeking the voice and face of Jesus Christ. These are as real as you reading this now. God designed us and knows full well what we need to thrive and survive. An applied life style, living for Jesus Christ and shunning evil. This work is given to save lives from suffering and to bring about a mended and healed body, heart and soul. Being comforted by the love of God, no greater love. This poetry book will fulfill a purpose and inspire you to have hope; give your whole life to Jesus Christ and fulfill your destiny for your life. James 1:2-3 "Counting it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience..." Seek the voice and brilliant face of Jesus he will save you no matter where you are. Jesus Christ went to the cross and our sins sacrificed him there. The Father God Almighty accepted His sacrificed as the one last final fulfillment of all the sacrifices every made. After many days on earth after His sacrifice He ascended as victor over all the forces of evil and hell and He sits at God's right hand a living hope our advocate and savior. He stood next to Jesus of Nazareth and was granted his freedom while the other was crucified. But who was he and what was the story leading up to his being chosen by the crowds over the Messiah? Author Thom Koop delves into what might have been the life of Joshua "Jesus" Barabbas in his first novel, Give Us Barabbas: A Redemption Story. After witnessing the murder of his father at the hand of Roman soldiers, young Joshua chose the path of Freedom Fighter alongside others in his family and community who were outraged by the Romans' blatant disregard for the nation of Israel. Motivated by revenge, killing became his life as part of a murderous Jewish Zealot faction known as Q. However, when one fateful stay in prison grew longer than expected, Barabbas began to wonder if everyone had forgotten about him, including God. Alone and on the edge of hope, he uttered a small prayer for the Lord to help him. Little did he know how Adonai would answer! When the idea for Give Us Barabbas presented itself, Thom felt somewhat stuck, and the idea of writing a historical novel about a little-known man from the Bible seemed pretty far-fetched. However, as he shared Barabbas's story with his family, their advice and encouragement was to write it down. Three and a half years later, that writing became a reality with Give Us Barabbas. Thom wrote the novel based on research into the true events of Barabbas's life and the era in which he lived, creating a story that is undeniable in how accurately it depicts life at the time of Jesus's crucifixion. Give Us Barabbas shows that just as God answered Joshua Barabbas's prayer while in the dark surroundings of his prison, He can and will help you as well, however far or near you are from Him.
Have you ever wondered why you believe in Christ? Is it because God wrote it into your life's story that way, or is it written into your life's story because you chose for it to be? Are you an Arminian who wants to be able to articulate your beliefs better? Or are you a Calvinist who wants to understand why Arminians believe what they believe? If so, then this is the book for you! In it you will learn: How Christ's role in the Election process settles the centuries old Calvin/Arminian debate How the Bible only teaches the Arminian view How Evil's entrance into Creation is to be understood in a Biblically sound way If you think the Calvin/Arminian debate stands at a stalemate, or that there is a third option in between the two to believe in... or if you think these things are ultimately unknowable... then I encourage you to think again! By keeping Christ at the center of the topic the truth is found! Andrew K. Stephens has been studying the Bible for the past 20 years. He grew up as a preacher's kid all of his life. Having attained a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, He has become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
