A young, seventeen year old girl named Becky from a poverty stricken neighborhood who thinks she might be pregnant and Sandy, a young wife of a doctor who has been trying for two years to have a child.  When Sandy finds out her baby has severe disabilities and Becky is hurt by an assault in her home, choices have to be made concerning the babies. CJ and Sassy are two dogs who learned about the real meaning of Easter. They want to have a party and share this with their friends from the farm. There are three new friends; Mr. Don, a horse, Miss Jeanne, a duck, and Mr. Vern, a steer. They join them at the celebration and learn about the real meaning of Easter.....the Resurrection of Jesus. Donna is a pastor's wife (Paul, Murdale Baptist Church, Carbondale, IL). They have been there for 50 years in 2020. She has two great sons, Brad and Chad. She also has 5 wonderful grandchildren, Logan, Ryan, Carson, Camden, and Ashlynnn. She retired from Herrin, IL as an elementary teacher in 2003. In addition, in 2008 she was diagnosed with Parkinsons. She has always loved Children's books and is fulfilling a dream to be able to write two CJ and Sassy books.

In 1982 at 5 years old my love for God was discovered by my loving mother, our neighbors in the neighborhood where I grew up which earned me a religious name "Pastor". I grew up without a childhood. I began the Kingdom business of our Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. In 1997, I lost my father & a few years later I lost my best friend who was my biological mother. The death of my parents exposed me to danger and in my search to find solace I fell out of God's grace. I wandered in sin for too long until 2016 when I had my Son Sir-Henry Jr. My Son Sir-Henry Jr. was born at 24 weeks-5 days old with a medical condition which medically has no solution, my son's health condition rekindled the fire of the Holy Ghost in me. I had this righteous anger in me knowing very well that God is still in the business of doing good. Sometimes, God uses our life challenges to draw us closer to Him in other for Him to speak to us. God wanted to speak to Moses, realizing that Moses was far from His presence He drew Moses closer by showing him the burning bush, the bush was on fire but the bush was not consumed by the fire which attracted the attention of Moses. God used my son's medical condition to draw me closer. Today, I am an Evangelist, an author & Speaker winning souls for Christ. No matter how dark your sin is, the blood of Jesus will wash it to be whiter than snow.I am happily married to a woman who is next to God in my heart, Stephanie (MD) Blessed with 2 children AJ (10) & Sir-Henry Jr. (19 months)

My desire is my poems will reach people to Christ. Eph 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, least anyone should boast. Monica Sherlock is an Irish American poet who studied at Santa Barbara City College where she earned an Associates of Arts in Multimedia Arts and Technologies. Monica studied print making, sculpting in bronze and wood and creative writing. Her poems have been published in ten books. She also studied at U.C.S.B. and achieved a certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Monica is a trained florist, and currently working as a hair stylist in Carpinteria, CA.
