Siblings, Charles, Charlotte, and Claude search for the creature that put their small town in danger. The three venture to find a cure for the disease that has stricken the townspeople. During their search, they uncover more than they set out to find which leads them to a life-altering experience causing them to part ways. Many years pass before the three are reunited to fight a common enemy and fight the demons that they refused to bury in the past.
