"Life has a dark side.

For many years, Mong-Tuyen has only known the military life: pack up the household, move to another state or country, start a new school (often in the middle of the year,) make new friends (which is difficult when you're shy,) and just when life finally feels comfortable, start the cycle all over again. Finding your place in this world is hard when your world keeps changing.

This is a poetry collection of one woman's struggle to dream, cope and survive among the thorns as she journeys from youth to adulthood, one life in and out of the dark."
