A Carboniferous Morning

A Carboniferous Morning may be considered my introduction to the creatures of the Carboniferous time period. The book takes you through an introduction of six creatures that lived in North America some 350 million years ago. We know this from the fossil remains left behind in the rock and coal layers. There have been many movies and books about the standard dinosaurs, but you rarely hear about this particular group. Being from an area of the country that for years has been devoted to coal, I thought it was necessary to spread the knowledge of these creatures to the public and especially the next generation. With the changes of using other sources of energy it is all the more important that we remember what got us this far.
