A Plague of Vampires

Four friends working on a scientific research project to travel to parallel timelines to hopefully save a world dying from overpopulation and environmental destruction, foolishly decide to go it alone and explore unknown timelines and find themselves on a parallel world where it seems that the Confederacy had won the Civil War but since collapsed. They soon learn that the reason why was because the entire planet was overrun with bloodthirsty vampires. Now they must find some way to get their interdimensional travel capsule back in order to get back to our world, if they can survive the vampires first.
