A Walk With The Saviour

Every morning as I start the engine of my car, I hear this slogan on my favorite radio station. “The world is changing—are you listening?”
No truer statement is heard in all of radio land. The world is indeed changing. But as Christians, are we listening?
On an even deeper level, a better question to ask might be not “Are we listening to the world?” but “Are we listening to God?” God is speaking to each of us in a language we understand—but do we hear his voice? And are we able to distinguish his voice from the voices of the world?
Change is surely coming. As Christians, we are challenged to strengthen ourselves in the faith in a world out of control. But to do so, we must hear from the Lord. Just as Noah was instructed to build an ark for a world that he had not yet experienced, so too are we called to prepare ourselves for the coming days. Noah built on faith, hearing, and obedience. So must we.
