Above & Beyond is the third poetry collection written by Katherine Klingseis, a former journalist from the Midwestern United States. Divided into three sections, Above & Beyond explores themes of mortality, fate, magic, and romance. The pieces showcase the author's growth as a writer and human.Love does not comply to the concept of time, And pays no mind to the where or why, It exists above and beyond, The rules of our world do not correspond, So why do we try to rationalize, And use flawed logic to hypothesize, Where, when, how love will find us, That is all above and beyond us.
