His friendship with his best friend Max helps him to see how coming back to music will help heal his pain and Carlitos finds ways to honor Abuelo. Author Bio – Rita DeBlois LinseyWhen hearing about her son-in-law Carlos’ experience in Mexico regarding his grandfather (Abuelo) and music, author Rita DeBlois Linsey realized why her grandkids were so involved in music. Abuelo died when Carlos was twelve, his family moved Los Angeles California where he continued his love of music. Rita saw how the relationship had influenced Carlos’ life. Rita lives in Southern California where she was exposed to Mexican food, music and the culture. Now retired, she has time to write about other adventures whirling around in her head.
