New product development methodologies, grouped under the name Agile, are starting to get recognized by companies as a mean to compete more effectively in this new environment. They started in the IT world and are now accepted in various industries.
The role of the Change Manager was intrinsically linked to the Waterfall project management framework.
Those are some of the questions at the core of this book. The author proposes some answers based on his own experience, and interviews with peers working both in the product development field and in change management area. This is a revised edition adding one year of experience in transitioning to an agile setup in a real Fortune 500 company.
The author spent the last 22 years working in IT project management, lean manufacturing, organizational changes and change management in various companies, and industries in the US, France, Denmark, Mexico.
He is currently based in Mumbai where he oversees change management for 5 service centers across 3 countries in Asia.
He holds an Engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is also a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.
