Alex Collins was born in the town of Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on August 26, 1994. Andréa McDonald is his mother, while Johnny Collins is his father. Alex graduated from South Plantation High School, where his talent for sports soon stood out. He was a multi-sport athlete who competed in up to five different sports, including cheerleading, basketball, lacrosse, track, and soccer. His high school career was marked by several accolades, trophies, and broken records.As a junior, Alex helped his high school team, The Paladins, reach the state playoffs by rushing for 1,786 yards and scoring 28 touchdowns.
