First published in 1859, as the second edition of an 1849 original, this book contains the text of Bishop John Pearson's 1669 meditation on the Apostles' Creed. Pearson takes the Creed article by article, examining the history and spiritual message of each tenet in depth with many scriptural and patristic references.
