Finn is a courageous and imaginative boy whose heart is filled with wanderlust. With the permission of his dad, Jim, Finn and Toby venture far from home, exploring the bustling streets with awe and wonder. Meanwhile, his caring mother, Izabella, anxiously hopes that her adventurous son doesn't wander too far.
One fateful day, Finn and Toby find themselves at a bustling airfield where airplanes take off and perform daring aerial maneuvers. Entranced by the spectacle, Finn and Toby watch in awe as planes and helicopters dance across the sky. However, their excitement takes an unexpected turn when Toby disappears amidst the commotion.
A collective gasp fills the air as onlookers exclaim, "Look! There goes a dog flying away in a balloon!" Finn's heart races as he spots Toby clinging onto the rope of a slowly ascending balloon.
