Beauty from Brokenness

When a piece of pottery falls to the floor and smashes at the Potter’s feet; the broken vase thinks his life is over. The Potter mends the vase with gold, using the Japanese, Kintsugi repair. The Potter uses the vase in an unexpected way to water flowers as the water leaks through the vases’ cracks. In the same way, God turns our brokenness into beauty if we find our purpose in Him.
