It's not easy being a pimp in New York. The hookers give you problems, organized crime families give you problems, the police give you problems and other pimps give you problems. And now and again your own staff is a problem. That said, someone's got to do the job. This is the story of a few simple and good-hearted individuals who have decided to make it their life's work.

This is the thirteenth book in the John Board series. He's in the thick of things but does not decide to become a pimp.
