Bowing to external pressure, the government orders two battalions of the Regiment to Saudi Arabia.Newly married and now promoted Elizabeth Bekebaum and three hundred troops are sent ahead to prepare the Regiments base.Caught between the U.S. Marines, the Saudi armed forses and Saddam's Iraqi army, Elizabeth must walk a fine line to ensure cooperation with her allies, while keeping an eye on the Iraqis.Back home, her teenage brother Richard, reluctantly enters service as a candidate. Only time will tell if he just goes through the motions, or becomes fully involved. The Regiment needs new leaders.
