Let's Visit Charleston South Carolina: The author has made another adventurous journey through a great Southern state's city. I enjoyed exploring Charleston through the pictures and Teresa's view of an extensive aquatic aquarium, the oldest landscaped gardens in America, a theater where the first opera in the US was performed (still giving performances today), a castle where medieval and fairy tale role-playing is the rule, and last but not least, a pirate's walk. Azalea If you're planning a trip to Charleston, the first place to start is with Teresa's book, "Hey Kids! Let's Visit Charleston, South Carolina." Her book describes the not-to-be-missed places in the oldest city in South Carolina. If you love history, you will find this book to be a great resource. Be sure to get a copy of the planning guide from the link in the book. Teresa Once again the author delivered a travel book I, an adult with no knowledge of a location, enjoyed reading. She presents points of interests along with their facts and extra tidbits. Your Jr. tour guide should have fun choosing the places to visit and giving you the tour using this book. My only question is - where do we visit next?! Kim

It covers a wide variety of sites that include famous historical sites in San Francisco, theme parks, city parks, and national parks. There is so much to do in the San Francisco area and this travel book covers the highlights and some others that I wouldn't have thought of. Let's Visit Seoul South KoreaTake a look at what other amazon customers say about Hey Kids! Let's Visit Paris France: I've read several books in this series and the reason why I love them is because Mills sorts through the multitude of facts and gets down to the ones that are most interesting. I recently spent a week in Paris and I wish I had this with me because I learned all sorts of things I didn't know from reading boring guide books. I can't believe I missed the Catacombs! Mills speaks directly to kids using language they understand but it is not childlike. -SherriDid you know it takes six tons of paint for the Eiffel Tower, and they paint it every seven years? That Bonaparte was crowned in the cathedral of Notre Dame? Or that Victor Hugo wrote a scene from Les Miserables in the Luxemborg Gardens? Not to mention that the Paris catacombs extend slightly more than one hundred twenty-four miles under the city, most of it not mapped? Now I want to visit Paris if I ever get the chance. And I'd take my family too. This is a great series for kids and families. - AzaleaI love this author's travel series for kids. Truthfully, Paris has never been on my list as a possible travel destination. I thought it was all Eiffel Towers and what possibly could there be in that city that would interest me. Wow, as an adult have I been wrong! I would love to have this book even as an adult. But, as a kid, I can imagine being the tour guide for my family. - Kim

Let's Visit Savannah Georgia: This author is firing me up on places to visit that I had long ago written off as "boring, bland and uninteresting." I wish these had been around when our now adult son was little. It would have been fun to let HIM be the tour guide and use this book as a foundation for where to visit and what to see. Now, as a grandparent I've got Savannah, Georgia on my radar as a fun place to some day take our grandson when he's older. But, my goodness, as an adult, I'll probably use this book as MY tour guide! Kim Although I've visited Savannah, Georgia in the past, I didn't know even a fraction of the things Teresa's book talks about. She includes historical facts about the places she names in the book. This is a great book to take along on a trip to visit Savannah or just to learn more about the city - whether you are planning to visit in the future or just want to know more about this historical place and its treasures. Teresa The first chapter or so focuses a good bit on architecture, which isn't my thing, but later on I was fascinated by the interesting history the author dug up. Things like movie tie-ins, forts, kids' world getaways: all a great mix of education and fun that made me want to go to Georgia myself. Maybe I will someday. LOL I recommend this book if you're traveling that way! Have fun, kids! Enjoy traveling while you're young and learn all you can! Azalea
