Proposes a different pedagogy for addressing Aboriginal subject material, shifting the focus from an essentializing or 'othering' exploration of the attributes of Aboriginal people to a focus on historical experiences that inform our understanding of contemporary relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.
