Breakthrough is a psychological crime thriller that follows a two-week period in the life of RACHE FISCHER, a New York City homicide detective as she investigates the brutal murder of a local store manager and attempted rape of his young daughter. Arrested at the scene, the prime suspect has no priors, no convictions, no ID and no memory.
His daring escape from police custody propels the investigation into overdrive, whilst forcing Rache to work outside the law, as little by little, the evidence she uncovers begins to point away from the suspect, to not only exonerate him but also make him an active participant in solving the murder!
