Presents introductory concepts, fundamental techniques, advances, and open issues in broadband wireless multimedia. This title focuses on the routing and cross-layer design issue of multimedia communication over multihop wireless ad hoc and sensor networks. It also discusses issues related to multimedia communications over WLANs.
