Building a Bridge over Troubled Waters

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to destruction" Proverbs 16:25 (NIV). In John 14:6 we are told that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life (NIV). Our lives do not have to become a long winding road of ups and downs, heartaches, and misfortunes. We can choose the straight and narrow way if we seek ye first the kingdom. Our past does not have to haunt us, rule over us, or keep us in self-made prisons. If we trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways acknowledge him, he will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV).
