About Buried Innocence
'The truth is covered up with lies.' 'Your secret will find you out, but what if your enemy distorted truth with lies?' There's been two suicides in the past week, on the day where a warrant gets served for an arrest as a detective interrupts a Roman Catholic church meeting during a waiting period for the head priest to take the platform. Yet, the priest never does and the detective finds his suspect, the head priest, has committed suicide on that morning. A few days ago there was another suicide reported of a teenage boy that connects with each other. However, both of their motives were a supportive plea to look at the priest's case again to find bury innocence hidden in plain sight. As these two suicides favor each other in going against gossip that had been spread to raise a huge propaganda over something that never happened between teen and priest. Through their suicide they leave clues, pointing to an innocence that the congregation must solve to uncover the untold story that would have been impossible to win in court with overwhelming evidence. In the end, through the process of finding out what really happens, it brings the church together and builds it up again from out of its ruins to restoration. 12 Men/Women plus 10 chorus singers.
