From the book: They woke up in the morning with a gentle touch of warm sun. They heard Toucans chirping below. Nina and May got the startle of their life when a toucan poked his head in the tree. Nina and May patted the little guy. The toucan liked the patting and followed them around until they reached the top of the mountain. They saw a city far away, like a little dot in a gray forest. Wait! a gray forest? I thought we passed through a green forest. Wow, it now turns out it's green! The forest turned gray because Nina and May were still sleeping on the treetop.
