Catherine Miller, An Amish Widow

Catherine's world has fallen apart in days. Her Amish husband is an oddity, he doesn't want children. So when Catherine announces that she's pregnant, a violent argument ensues. Her husband storms out of the home and doesn't return...he's killed in a tragic accident...but an unexpected romance comes in the form of a handsome fireman who arrives on scene...The fireman has lost his own pregnant wife in a tragedy years earlier and sees some kind of kinship in the young Amish woman. He knows it is wrong...to make a romantic move on a fresh widow...but there is something in her sad but beautiful eyes that touch his soul...and he wonders if he can bring happiness to her life and the growing baby inside her.
