Cheers to the Ones Who Raised Us

In Cheers to the Ones Who Raised Us! we pay homage to the individuals who love(d) us unconditionally, took care of us and taught us about life and living. "Growing up in a two-parent home was such a blessing. I didn't realize how much until I became a single parent. While writing Life According to the Busy Single Parent I decided I wanted to write a book celebrating those who had parents, or someone else who raised them in a safe environment. I first shared this idea with my dad and he liked it. I then shared it with my mom and she and my dad started sharing stories that they wanted in the book. Unbeknownst to me, my dad would not be alive when the book published. Knowing my dad would be happy that 'Ms. Busy Lady', as he affectionately called me, continued the vision of having this book published to honor him, my mother and all the other wonderful parent(s) that are being honored in "Cheers to the Ones Who Raised Us!" allowed us to press forward to tell their stories."
