  I was always shamed by my parents for not being able to cook asian food, and I felt it was always so intimidating. This book has so many easy classics, and really beautiful, approachable and non pretentious recipes. My parents still think I’m a failure, but at least they can’t say anything about my cooking now!

  I love the recipes. I've tried 3 now but perused many others and plan to try many more. The ones I've tried really do remind me of Chinese takeout. Plus, I get to leave out the ingredients I don't care for (not a fan of bell peppers). The recipes are easy to follow.
