To be read aloud at cosy moments with family and friends at Christmas time – may, of course, also be read at other times during the year and by oneself.
There are stories about philanthropy, morality, disappointment, joy and much more – but they all have one thing in common: They give food for thought, like for instance:
That we should take care of each other.
That not all of us have the same access to material goods and, therefore, we do not all have the same opportunities.
That many people, especially old people, feel let down and alone during Christmas.
That we should not throw suspicion on other people if we do not have proof.
That we should do our utmost not to hurt or disappoint other people, not only at Christmas time but all through the year.
