Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of the famous Sherlock Holmes, was also a believer in ghosts and fairies and wrote books about spiritualism and fairies.
In 1917 two young girls took photographs of what they said to be real fairies. The History is known as "The Cottingley Fairies" and this is the story about Conan Doyles investigation of the phenomena.
