Crazy Maizy

Maizy Sullivan became an outcast in her family once her mother died and her father hastily remarried. She couldn't wait until she was out on her own. However, despite her good looks, she had difficulty focusing, often making impulsive poor decisions. (ADHD). Lured by the glitzy world of the flapper scene, she didn't realize the consequences until she was entrenched with the bootlegging mobsters and speakeasy scenes of the 1920s. Detective Drake Tenny, whose job was to investigate the mobster kingpins, easily ensnared Maizy through deception for information as naïve and trusting as she was. Unfortunately, the mob caught on blaming Maizy for the raids and arrests, ultimately putting a hit on her. Detective Tenny, realizing this, sets out to protect Maizy at all costs that proved to be a challenge. Can living out-of-town with her maternal church-going grandmother under a new identity help to change her life around? Can she attract a decent fella despite all her baggage while living a lie? Will her issues ever be resolved so she can move forward with her life?
