Crucible of Grace

The fifth book in the Pioneers of Grace series by Olwyn Harris takes us to Yellow Creek Station. Here we are introduced to Ruth, the widowed daughter-in-law to Nora. Ruth has followed Nora, also a widow, back to her hometown, where she must find work to sustain them. As a foreigner, Ruth faces suspicion and discrimination at every turn.
