"Why on earth would a vampire want to become a drug lord?" This is the question Elwood Gillen finds himself in the center of trying to solve when inadvertently kills one of the spies for a select group of modern knights that are part of the Military Order of Malta that secretly fight the supernatural. With his fiancée and one of his children kidnapped by a vampire, Elwood is forced to become a spy by a werewolf ally of the Knights of Malta. The ally of the Knights, Lannosea Buddig forcing Elwood to spy has a secret past herself that is now starting to catch up to her and could affect a badly needed alliance between man and a group of werewolves sworn to protect the bloodline of Christ himself. Can they all come together in time to defeat an enemy that is as powerful as all of them combined? That is the question one poor priest, Father Derrick Martin has to answer as he tries to pull all the groups together into one fighting force while trying to protect his new spy and everyone's secrets as well.
