Demystifying the Immigration Law

Framing the immigration problem has always been a challenge often used for political gaining. The same issue appears in an election year and fades right after the election. In contrast to the past, immigration became a heated debate during the 2016 election. The rhetoric turned a legitimate issue into an unforgiving battle between two solid electoral bases: democrat and republican. The boisterous 2016 electoral race yielded a sizable turnout among the conservative base. Such a strategy was nothing short of a conflict conceived in a distorted reality and a shift from the perceived American values.
