Heinrich von Kleists Der zerbrochene Krug ist eines der berühmtesten deutschen Lustspiele. Die Handlung spielt in einem kleinen Dorf, wo der Richter Adam gegen den Dorfrichter Walter eine Anklage erhebt. Im Laufe des Stückes stellt sich jedoch heraus, dass der Richter Adam ein heimliches Verhältnis mit Walters Frau hat. Das Stück ist ein Meisterwerk der Komödie und bietet eine scharfe Satire auf die Moralvorstellungen der bürgerlichen Gesellschaft.
