"Did You Know that You can Do it Too?" is about empowering children, especially Haitian children that they can be anything they want in the world. Though some Haitian parents tell their children to go into the field of engineering, and medicine limiting the possibility of other respected careers. There are other fields that exist where people who look like us, and have the Haitian blood lines flowing their veins. Sonje, ou kapab fe li tou! (You can do it too) This book is written in both Haitian Kreyol and English. Though written with Haitian children in mind, all children can benefit from such a powerful message. This book is written with children of ages 2 - 10 in mind.
