Thrown off the Boston Police Department, Tim Hennessey ekes out a living on
Cape Cod as a consulting detective. Retained by local police to solve a shocking,
gruesome death that has terrified locals and tourists alike, Hennessey also
investigates the burning down of performing arts buildings throughout the Cape.
Hennessey uncovers savage conflicts at a leading regional non-profit group, and exposes evil, horrifying acts done in the name of progress. Grizzled as he is, Hennessey still believes deeply in our criminal justice system, but his frustration boils over during the sensational murder trial. Justice is not being served.
